'Size and location of property was good, but owner knew the oven was broken since he text me minutes before I was able to check in and did not have it repaired or have an alternative to bake with. We were left with a make due kind of attitude. For the cost, there should have been something there to bake with especially since we were staying 4 nights and a party of 8. Maybe have Amazon deliver a toaster oven?? Owner has not reinvested any of its proceeds to updating or providing decent towels and...

'Prefer to not be on the I-80 fwy side! Didn’t get good sleep at all. Vending machine was somewhat empty in the 3rd floor by elevator. The Deli was great for food. Service was very good! Hopefully this will still be my go to spot on my travels.'

'The ownership seemed in transition with policy like free breakfasts being changed.
The buffet breakfast was not offered.
Room was clean but the auto on lighting in the sink area would come on with any movement. Since there is not a door, we often would be awakened .
The person on the front desk was very helpful as was the housekeeper.'

'Loved our stay here. It was very peaceful and the reception staff were very friendly. They were great with communication and instructions. We got to our cottage after hours and it was a smooth check-in with the instructions emailed to us. The cottage is very comfy and spacious.It was about a 10 min drive to everything like downtown Truckee and it said 15/20 min to Palisades Tahoe but felt like less. '
