« This place feels like a home away from home. The rooms we stayed in felt like we rented a studio apartment for a few days. The style is retro so it feels nostalgic and very comfortable. The staff is super friendly and helpful. We were sad to discover that the hotel isn't pet friendly, but that was the only thing we could complain about. »

« If you are looking to not perhaps pay as much for The Lodge, this absolutely should be on your radar. The team, rooms, location, breakfast, all the things hit the mark. While I think the remotes likely need to be replaced (as we got the batteries replaced on day 2), due to many thumbs aggressively finding the right channel, that’s still not dropping the 5 STAR rating. We will be back and also for the location, both for walkable options and also a nice river walk, can’t go wrong. »

« good room for the value, you get what you pay for, not a luxury hotel or anything. SUPER dog friendly with a great dog area and direct access to the river trail which is super fun for morning/evening walks. I'm just here for work and sleep so it was perfect. Pool looked fun. dogs give 5 stars. »

« The beds were comfortable. The full size refrigerator was very nice. It needed another chair to sit on. There was only 1 bar of soap so we had to buy something for the shower. Also has to but dish washing soap to clean the dishes that were provided. The dishes were a nice touch but if you plan on using the cooking area you have to bring your own pot/pan/utensils. It would be nice to know ahead of time. Also, though it says they provide a hair dryer, you have to ask for one at the front...
