Let us know if you’d like to also enjoy sleds or a cozy winter campfire! Thank you for staying with us! If you're looking for the perfect retreat in a country setting you have just found it! This new construction with cottage home connected to a large garage is centrally located between Traverse City and Elk Rapids. The cottage home has a master suite, large loft and a 3-piece guest bath. This cottage is designed with your comfort in mind. There is sleeping room for up to 9 people with 2 queen beds, 3 twin beds and a pull-out sofa sleeper. The home is furnished with hardwood floors throughout, central air, and open concept kitchen, dining and living area. You'll love the interior, but the custom patio, fire pit and grill is what will keep you coming back time and time again.

Hosts were quick to respond and communicated very well. We had four generations of family and everyone loved the the property and the rental. The kids enjoyed playing in large yard with corn hole or in loft with fuse ball table.Hosts were very accommodating on parking...we had 2 cars, 3 pickup trucks and 2 bass boats!Rental house itself was just as pictured. It was nice having 2 full bathrooms. I would stay there again.

A Wonderful Return Visit!

We love everything about this idyllic little home that's just a short distance from Traverse City. It's so clean, well-appointed, quiet and comfortable. Best of all, Kara and Eric are friendly, welcoming hosts to us and our lovable 98-pound dog, Dilly. We know that this is the place we will always try to book! The nearby cows are a bonus--when we spot them! We WILL be back, whenever we can slip away to our home-away-from home!

This was the perfect spot for us and our dogs. It was a relaxing & comfortable place to come back to after our adventures each day. We loved being greeted by the cows every morning. 8 of us used the property for our home base during a yearly golf trip and it served its purpose perfectly. It was clean and well stocked with what it should include. You feel like you're in the middle of nowhere but you're 5 minutes to grand traverse resort and 10 minutes to lots in Traverse City. Great communication from the host before and during our visit. Highly recommend.

This is the second time I stayed here and the return was an easy decision, once I decided what I wanted to do in northern MI. It is clean, comfortable, peaceful and within easy drives to Sleeping Bear/Leelanau area; Traverse City, Petoskey and Mackinaw City. The owners are helpful and welcoming. They are on the same property, but non intrusive. Very pleasant areas to walk the dogs. I'll hopefully return!
