Good evening Helen,Thank you for your feedback. I am pleased you found the hotel to be of high quality and that it suited your needs. I am sorry to hear that you found it too bland for you. We have a full casual lounge menu available over lunch time and sandwiches served 24 hours per day, however due to the intricacy of our evening meal, unless you let us know earlier about a request for something not on the dinner menu that you would like in the evening i.e. fish and chips, then we do just have our normal dinner menu. There is always the option of just having 1 or 2 courses rather than the full 6-course menu, but the full menu is absolutely fabulous so i would always recommend trying it.Kindest regards,Bogdan & The Belgrave Sands Team

Good evening Mrs Miller,I am so sorry you weren't happy with the allocation of your bedroom. I have checked the email conversation in April and she was telling the truth at the time, however unfortunately, this particular receptionist must have forgotten to write a note on your booking about this as the room was moved around in the 6 month period between that and your arrival.I am so sorry about this mistake and that you struggled with the stairs during your stay with us.Seasons Restaurant is the only dining option within the hotel in the evening. There are six options for each course with a few of these changing nightly and we have two Rosettes from the AA for culinary excellence. We recommend 2-3 courses, but can offer 1 course upon request. We do not have other menus running at the same time because there are so many lovely bars and restaurants around Torquay that we encourage our guests to try other local business too if they fancy something a bit different.Once again, i sincerely apologise for the mistake with your room request and we hope you give us another chance in the future.Kindest regards,Bogdan GorganGeneral Manager
