End of summer

We found this property and thought it would be a great idea for a last bit of fun before summers end . It worked out great, the number of beds and bedrooms everyone was happy. The screened in front porch was wonderful to sit in and have a morning coffee or breakfast and all of our dinners at the table and chairs. All the beaches close by either by walking or a quick ride were very good, everyone went swimming once sometimes twice a day. We had a couple of fires and roasted marshmallows. The whole Home away from Home worked out fabulous for our family. Thank you to Cherie and Sil for the opportunity. David and Elizabeth

Another wonderful week in Tiny

We once again had an amazing week in Tiny township at this lovely country home. My family and I (ages 6 to 72) have nothing but glowing praise for the hosts, the property, and the area. We're already excited for our next visit.

Our favourite summer getaway

This was our second year renting this property and our expectations were exceeded once again! A clean, tidy, well kept home with a glorious screened-in porch that serves as a bonus outdoor living and dining space. Well appointed with all the necessary tools and equipment to make meals. Several nice beaches within walking distance. Fire pit in the yard with lots of wood provided to build fires. Owners are kind, friendly and responsive, and checked in regularly to ensure we had all we needed. We’ll be back next year!

Lovely Stay in Tiny

This Tiny Country Home was an excellent stay for my family. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and were very comfortable. Cherie and Sil were very welcoming, and even left us some unexpected treats to enjoy while we vacationed. The kids particularly enjoyed the crafts they left for them to do. We all enjoyed the large screened in front porch for all our meals and evenings reading. We will definitely be back.

This place looks good from pictures and nothing more. It is not kept well or sanitized although it is specifically stated in the advertisement. I don't know where to start because nothing about this place was comfortable. From the mice droppings to the caked on grease in the kitchen to the moldy bathtub and dirty toilet. My partner and I did more cleaning then relaxing.. Was reminded 30 times of check times which leads me to believe they have no intention of keeping up the place but more so just getting a cash grab. Grounds are disgusting and BBQ was filthy. Emailed landlord directly with no response or acknowledgement of all the issues I stated in the email. It is my assumption they do not have a cleaning crew going in to this place for they rely on the people renting to clean it for the next renter. Our stay was awful and uncomfortable and they should be ashamed of themselves to propose such filthy accommodations. They state they comply with all Covid-19 regulations but from my experience there is a multitude of infractions. I wouldn't take this place if the renter offered it free. The only advice could offer here is just stay away and VRBO should take them off your site!

Beautiful home and wonderful hosts!

What an amazing week my family and I had at this beautiful country home in Tiny Township! The home was spacious, wonderfully equipped, very clean, and exactly as advertised. The owners of the home were brilliantly helpful in every way from check-in to check-out and were available to answer any/all questions we had throughout our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great little getaway

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage in the Tiny area. The owner supplies all of your needs and more in cooking/cleaning materials (TP, pots/pans, etc), and graciously left a little gift basket for us as well! They were able to walk us through the house at check-in, which was very helpful. They including a parking pass for parking at the beaches, which was needed because you'll want to drive a little bit south to Cove or Lafontaine Beaches for great sand and swims. We enjoyed the sunset at the marina, and would recommend a drive up to Eagle Cove for a great sunset, too. Be sure to also bring water shoes because the entryway into the water is a bit rocky at all beaches. Evenings were great at the house as we partook of their video collection, and were surprised by how well we enjoyed popping in an old VHS again! We were a bit worried about internet signal since the house does not come with Wifi, but their signal amplifier seemed to do the trick and we had little issues connecting to 4G LTE. Everything on the Tiny peninsula is within a 30-minute drive, so be sure to check out the sights and food in Penatanguishene and Midland as well. The only negative comment to leave is that while the AC did a great job cooling the main living room/kitchen area, it did not quite reach back to the bedrooms, which remained a bit warm throughout the night. This was during a hot summer week in August, though, so I'm sure it is more comfortable when the temperatures are a bit cooler. Cheers!

Birthday get away!

My husband had a special birthday and we had hoped to go to the Netherlands where he was born. Of course during the pandemic this was impossible. i found this wonderful house online and we spent a restful week there with our son. When we arrived the owner was there and very friendly and helpful with the workings of the house. She had a welcome basket that included many Dutch treats! My husband had to share! I was impressed with how well the kitchen was stocked. There are 3 bikes available and we used them. The cottage is near many beaches and we loved "Cove" beach the best. You need a parking pass to use beaches in Tiny township and that too was available. I highly recommend this Tiny house. (It's not tiny either!) I wish the week had been longer!

Beautiful spot, wonderful owners

This house is minutes from a beautiful rocky beach and just a few mins drive from at least 5 other beaches. Property is clean and well appointed. Only thing we missed was a dryer bc we got several rainy days. Owners made us feel very welcome and treated us like family. They were always accessible by phone or text. Tiny is a beautiful community full of things to do. 10/10 would recommend

Home away from home in cottage country

We went with our young children and my in-laws and all had a great experience. The place had all the amenities of home with the cottagey feel. The big screened in front porch was great for hanging out and meals. The owner was very friendly and always accessible. Provided all of the information we needed to help enjoy our stay. Great location, near a few different beaches. We rode our bikes to the beach each day and the kids loved it. Good backyard for playing and a nice fire pit area. First time to Tiny Township and we’ll be back again.

Lovely Stay at the Tiny House

The house was excellent - the front porch made for perfect meal times, and the big back yard with the fire pit and the BBQ was very cool. The beaches near-by are all great in their own ways, and needless to say, the kids spent much of their time in the water. Also, the host/owner was very attentive and informative. I would definitely recommend this place.

Spacious and clean country home located a short distance from a lovely beach (bring water shoes for comfort from the stones). Many other beaches are a short drive away. The front screened in porch is a lovely area to enjoy meals and other activities. Highly recommend to couples or families.
