We had a great time, the place was so so homey and had so many things to do I wish I stayed longer and had a stormy day to stay inside all day lol loved the roof top it was my favorite part !! Thank you for having such a cute place for people to come and visit!!!
Very clean and well equipped. Beautiful area. The only inconvenience for us was that the bathroom (especially in the lower level) was kind of small. But that is because my son is very tall and didnât have much room to move .We very much enjoy our stay.
Cute beach house with great decorations. Loved the welcome basket, sunset on the rooftop with the fire table, the tunnel beach, and how cozy and peaceful the place was. Lori has great communication; the kitchen was well-stocked, check-in went great, and we enjoyed ourselves.
The house is definitely older, but the furnishing were very nice. The house had nearly everything we needed. The view from the top deck is terrific. Sadly it was way too windy to stay up there and light the the firepit.
Each floor level is its own experience with the upstairs roof deck to be a spectacular view of the ocean. It was beautiful during sunset. The upstairs room with the corner windows was my favorite to hang out in. Thank you for the memories.
My husband and I spent 4 nights at Lori's place. The first words that come to mind in describing her Oceanside residence are charming and cozy. Itâs spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 children or 4 adults, with and upstairs and a down -stairs both with separate heating and kitchens. Her decorating is wonderful, I love the corals and blues, everything is coordinated, if I were decorating my own beach house it would be very similar. It is beautiful but not too fussy and she has thought of everything you could possibly forget or want. Or arrival was simple and there was a lovely basket of cheeses, snacks and bubbly which was not expected but a definite, "I like her style!"...she even provided treats and a raincoat for the dog!We had originally been looking at hotels, but this was sooo much better. When my clothing was soaked by an unexpected wave; I was able to come back and wash my clothes. Plus the backyard has warm water coming out of the house so you can wash off the dog before you bring them into the house, something I wish I had in my home. We came to Oceanside for the agates, and we weren't disappointed. We were expecting rain and after arriving we were half-way hoping it would rain so we would have an excuse to stay in and read, but it never happenedâŠthree nice dry days, including a beautiful sunny one. If rain is in the forecast don't let that stop your trip, the house has games, puzzles, art and books, so much to do! Thank you Lori, and weâll be back!
We really enjoyed our stay here! Lori, the owner, has been incredibly helpful all along. She allowed us to check in early, helped troubleshoot when I had accidentally put the wrong key in the lock box at checkout, and even offered to personally drop off a forgotten clothing item at my home (!). The house is super-cozy and has an extremely well-stocked kitchen, including a set of nicely sharpened chef's knives. We were greeted to a large gift basket in the fridge, thank you! The view from the upper floor is spectacular. Everything was clean and well-appointed, with ample bedding and even an additional kitchen area (which we never used) on the downstairs level. The wood-burning fireplace is lovely. We have stayed in many different houses in Oceanside over the years, and this one immediately became one of our favorites. We would stay here again any time! Thank you, Lori!
We arrived with a welcome basket of bubbly and cheese/crackers which set the stage on the level of hospitality that Lori takes with her guests. Great spot, walking distance to the beach, firewood and stove (well stocked) and great communication throughout our stay. Well done! Highly recommend to all
We loved our stay at Loriâs house - check in was a breeze, the house was cleanly and we loved hanging out on the rooftop patio and taking in the amazing views of the ocean/mountains. Would highly recommend!
The roof deck is really incredible, I loved sitting up there to watch the sunset with the fire going. The whole place was set up with thoughtful touches that made it extra special. Hopefully I'll be back some day!
Absolutely awesome! All amities were taken care of. Owner thought of everything, even the couple things we forgot! If there was anything negative, it was the lack of curtains to provide privacy especially from street view and bathroom. We adapted and all was well đ will definitely rent again!!
Super unique property with amazing ocean views from rooftop deck and living room.Well equiped kitchen with some nice personal welcoming surprises, lits of space betwen fllors and a bonus deck to BBQ. Wood burning stove and TV on both floors kept kid entertained.Clise walk to beach and " downtown" Oceanside " which is our new favorite escape from the masses of Cannon Beach and Seaside. We will be back for sure!
This cute little two-story (plus balcony on top) has all the charm I relish about Oceanside and the "secret beaches" of the Three Capes region of Oregon. It would be a great place for those who want a quiet beach stay well off the much-busier routes.
We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed 2 beautiful sunsets. The first night was a short walk to the beach to take in the Sun disappearing behind Three Arch Rocks. The second night we sipped wine from the rooftop as day gave way to night.
The home had a lot of cute decorations and Lori makes your stay feel personal and comfortable. The kitchen was compact but had everything we needed to make breakfast of scrambled eggs. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and the home provided a place to rest, hangout, enjoy the outdoor spaces and easy access to the beach and other attractions nearby Oceanside.
Cozy cottage vibe. Cute decor. Easy access to beach. Found everything we needed to use. Clean comfy beds. Lots of stairs if you have someone with limited mobility. Loves the rooftop patio and fireplace. Perfect place to take in the beauty and sea air.
There was a japanese flare to the place... tea set, noodle cup yhatzee, eye masks, ear plugs, a walking stick at the door. The amenities made us wish for them at all rental homes. I wish i had the time to use the easel and paints on the rooftop with grandiose views of the oregon coast. 11 out of 10.
It was just the two of us and we enjoyed our quiet coastal getaway. We really loved the rooftop patio view - just had to be very careful coming back down the stairs after dark because the stairs are a bit steep. We didn't utilize the downstairs portion but it had a cute little kitchenette and living room. We just used the upstairs kitchen and living room. The ceilings are low in both, something that was common back in the day at the coast. Loved the giant spruce trees behind the house which gives a tiny forest vibe. There are a few places to get breakfast or lunch but only one restaurant in town open for dinner - Roseanna's which is a few blocks down the hill from the house. My only dislike was the super soft bed in the main bedroom. I had to move to the bunk bed for my back. The house is STOCKED with so much cool stuff - games, crafts, movies, spices, etc. It was lovely.
