'We really enjoyed our stay. It was exactly what we wanted! We felt isolated from the world but had enough to do around us that kept us thoroughly entertained. The hot tub wasn’t one of those run down ones, it was nice, fancy, and worked like a charm. The grill needed cleaning but that’s usually the case with most rental grills. It also came with all ware so we didn’t need to bring anything except charcoal, light fluid, and firewood/kindling for the fire.'

'The pictures of this home do it no justice! Better than we expected! Views were stunning! Well stocked kitchen! Great layout! Well kept property! We only had 2 cars in the driveway, but plenty of room for more - if necessary! We will definitely return next year for our yearly outing to Wilksboro. The only “down side” was the lack of screens on the doors. The weather was perfect to keep the AC/heat off and let the fresh air in, but due to the bugs and lack of screens, we had to keep things...

'My wife and I celebrated our anniversary weekend here, and the cabin was everything we hoped for. Very secluded and private, with all the amenities needed on site. We took full advantage of the gun range, the hot tub, and the nature surrounding the cabin. The owners are extremely hospitable and very accommodating. We hope to come back someday.'

'My hubby & I were so in need of a peaceful trip and we were not disappointed! The property was lovely & we enjoyed the seclusion! Our pup & I reveled in the calm of the river space & nature. The only thing we would change was the weather, but no way to do that, is there? This is a great space for couples or families! We’ll stay again earlier in the summer so we can enjoy the beautiful pool!'

'A view near, as in multiple buck, does, and a fawn in the yard as we sat out and chatted, and far that's beautiful day and night will keep us coming. It was supremely quiet in a birders paradise. The cabin was also very well stocked and we wanted for nothing.'

'My family got to the property and the owners were there and seemongly forgot that we were coming. We had to wait about 45 minites for them to get packed up. There was a smoke detector beeping and they said they hoped we could deal with that. We could not as we have people in the family with a strong sensitivity to repetitive noise so we took it down. The property itself is very nice and we did have a good time dispite a rocky start.'

'This location was so beautiful and was perfect for our kids (ages 6 and 9). We enjoyed hearing the stream and the fire, laying in the hammocks, exploring the creek, and watching the horses. The hosts were very attentive. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance.'

'The cottage is all that we had hoped for and more. It’s beautiful and clean and as stated, cozy. The river and ponds were an added bonus. It was so peaceful and relaxing. It felt like we were in a different world. We hated for the week to end. The owners were very kind and assisted when needed. We couldn’t have asked for a better week. '

'My husband and I and two other couples stayed for the weekend at the River and Vine. We were in the area for a concert at Shelton Winery and the house is just 12 minutes away. It was a perfectly clean and nicely furnished home. The bedrooms are spacious and the property is beautiful. Please note that the loft "bedroom" is not a bedroom -- just has two beds. There is no bathroom on that floor. Our friends that slept in the loft used the basement bathroom - which was perfectly fine for them. ...
