Located just steps from downtown Three Oaks and right next to the incomparable Journeyman Distillery, welcome to The Journeyman Distillery Bunkhouse. This two-bedroom, one bath home is perfect for the couple or small family that want to shed the city life for a relaxing getaway. This home features one bedroom with a queen bed, one bedroom with two twins (bunk beds), dining for four as well as a family room with TV. Outdoor decking is perfect for stargazing or having that morning cup of coffee.

All the amenities you would expect in a quality rental including internet, cable, window unit air conditioning and heat, grill and more. Now offering a two-night summer minimum so times won't last, book today!

Great location. Common areas are nice and cute. Screened in porch was great. Bedrooms and bathroom are very small. No room for luggage or to set toiletries out- we had to use the common area for that. Lots of extension cords stringing things together in the bedrooms but no outlets to charge a phone while sleeping. Primary bedroom has queen bed squeezed in up against 3 walls so it’s very hard for two people to easily get in and out of the bed.

This was a cute little house in a great location - close to the journeyman distillery and a 10-minute drive to Warren Dunes State Park. It had the things you need for a short stay.- beds, kitchen, etc.

We had a relaxing stay at this cute house! Close to the beaches, plenty of restaurants and things to do near by! Will stay here again. Only recommendation would be hand soap in the bathroom.

Nice stay at the bunkhouse

The bunkhouse met our expectations. The water still does have a strong sulfur smell, so be prepared to bring your own drinking water. The location is great and the space is perfect for a couple or a small family. The bunk bed needs some stabilization.

Nice! yet a tiny egg

It worked out really nice to be so close to the wedding venue. Clean, modern touches, and provided enough towels, soap, etc to make it very easy… therefore 4 stars! I feel like this property is going to make a ton of money during wedding season and there’s a few things that should be invested in to make this tiny house comparable in quality to the venue. 1. Egg water- this place needs a good water softener! 2. The mattress was pretty rough 3. collapsible suitcase stands- there’s very little space therefore finding a place to put our bags was a problem. Thanks for a great stay!

Perfect for a fast getaway- no frills but all that you need and clean!!! Only draw back is the sulfur/egg smell of the water obviously no water filtration . So bring your own water to drink Thanks

Great location in Three Oaks

The place was exactly as pictured. We adore Three Oaks and the location was great to walk to our friends’ house up the road, get a drink at Journeyman (and buy presents for friends back in Detroit). The linens were the softest lines I have ever slept on.

Three Oaks House

We rented this property in part due to the excellent reviews we read about it. The house was clean but not well equipped and not at all comfortable. The bedrooms and bathroom were tiny and cramped. The only hanging space was a mobile rack in the bunk room. The closet in the queen bedroom (which was the only closet in the house)was stacked with towels and bags that were full. It was unusable. There were no empty drawers or shelves for our use. No dressers and the only mirror was in the tiny bathroom. The kitchen looked cute but there was one wine glass, no cereal bowls and no coffee filters. To its credit the house was clean and the bed was comfortable. The limited seating in the living room and dining room was not intended for comfort.

Quick Getaway

This property was just as described in the listing. We had a really nice, quiet stay as a family. The kitchen was stocked well, however I would suggest adding a few bowls and cups for families visiting with small children. And also, window dressing in the bathroom should be added, for those visiting during times the landscapers are present. Otherwise, we would definitely recommend this property!

We had the best weekend in Three Oaks. This house served as our perfect home base, with ample space (both indoor/outdoor), a great screen in porch, equipped kitchen, and just a short walk into town. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway from Chicago!

This place was just what we needed. The house was decorated in a trendy boho chic vibe and has just what we wanted for a 3 day getaway from Chicago. The location (3 houses down from Journeyman distillery) in Three Oaks, MI was perfect. The town has lots of restaurants and cafes. The distillery has an incredible outdoor space with tables, chairs, fire pit, golf putting and bean bags. Tons of fun for kids and adults! Close to Warren dunes too and all that Red Arrow highway has to offer. Do be aware that There is no dishwasher or laundry. The house is the perfect size for a family of 3 or 4. Everything was done tastefully and thoughtfully in the house. We had a fantastic trip! We will definitely be back soon!

This was a perfect little house for my family of 4!

The house was very clean and beds were super comfortable. Bunk beds were a little wobbly, but my boys loved them! Loved the hardwood floors and barn doors too. Kitchen was well supplied for what we needed. The location was awesome. We walked to Journeyman twice for my boys to play golf and my husband and I enjoyed a drink outside. Dinner was excellent too! We also enjoyed walking downtown for breakfast. It was a great get away for us!
