'The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. On the down side: the hot tub was not working which was a disappointment. I slipped in the slippery stairs going in to the pool. I let management know and she stated she would install some abrasive strips to the stairs. The pool water was warm which is rare. Overall it is a nice hotel and a great value for the cost.'

'It is a beautiful property. The house was very clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and communicated promptly with me. We enjoyed the firepit with free wood and the beautiful lake. Note that there is only ONE bathroom and the 3rd bedroom is in the basement and is not a room. The wifi was out the entire time we were there but we were told it was not the homeowners fault. Also note that there is a significant security deposit, more than I've experienced before, that I didn't know about...

'First and foremost, the host is incredibly considerate. Before arriving, she was in constant contact and answered all questions/concerned very quickly. Once we arrived, she had more than enough drinks inside and out by the hot tub. She had also provided snacks in the dining room. The cottage was done very well and had a real nice country feel to it. 'We both needed a place to relax and get away from the Business of life and a more slower pace. That was the place. Very comfortable. Able to go to the beach and enjoy the water. Nikki was very friendly and very helpful. The only thing I missed was my western shows. '
