'Rubbish was found all over the floor (plastic nails, bottle of water under the dressing table, half eaten cookie), bed extremely uncomfortable, food in the restaurant salty(when sent back the tone was like I was asking for more food, rather than trying to rectify error politely), no idea how this place is 4star, would never go back. Spa just re-opened after refurb, but works still going on, debri everywhere, smell of silicone in the changing room revolting. Staff on reception and spa lovely. '

'This is a very well presented, clean, comfortable and roomy property. Comfy bed, good size TV and great shower too. Big supermarkets are only about 1.5 miles away and a restaurant very close by. Parking is right outside. The host had put the heating and lights on for my arrival which was great. Also a selection of tea and coffee was available too. Would recommend.'

'I am sorry to say that the property was not what I expected. The area to park in was chaotic with cars parked all over the place so when I arrived after a traumatic journey, I was trying to find a place to park in the pitch black with no lights apart from my car lights. The room was not hoovered. The ‘kitchenette’ was dangerous due to the curtains being close to the air fryer. The toilet seat was loose, broken. There was barely a hello from the owner and he watched as I struggled in the rain...

'Nice little B&B a few yards from the course at Clyne. Small but well appointed twin rooms and a delicious full breakfast served in the clubhouse. Staff and members very hospitable and all four in our party very pleased and would happily stay again. '

'I had a terrible experience with my hotel booking yesterday. I made the reservation in the morning and informed the owner, John, that we would arrive late, after 9:00 PM. She told me there would be a £60 late check-in charge, which I agreed to. At 9:00 PM, she messaged me, and I explained that due to traffic and an accident, we would be delayed by about an hour. 'Stayed at Hoopers Hotel for two nights with my wife and baby and had a really nice stay. The room was comfy, we all slept well, and the sea view was lovely. Nice little touches with tea, coffee, snacks, and a ceiling fan to keep the room cool. Even though it’s on a busy road, it was surprisingly quiet. Really good value for money. We would definitely stay again.'
