'Very close to Kings Island, which was a plus for us. We would stay hear again. The staff was not overly friendly, but it wasnt a terrible experience either. Our room was very clean and spacious and accomodating for what we were needing. Overall a good stay.'

'Horrible experience. Check in started at 3 and I arrived at 8. I was told my room was not ready and wouldn’t be for a couple more hours due to staffing shortage. The manager only offered to cancel my reservation or call me when a room was ready. My disabled veteran husband started having mental issues so they got us a room quicker. Then our room had no towels. I saw a teenage housekeeper in hall who gave us towels and found out her mom was assistant manager who asked her to come in and help out....

'The staff was very friendly and the breakfast was great both mornings we stayed. They kept everything clean and refilled with a good amount of options for everyone. The lounge area was nice and clean along with the room. The provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash was great! Some things starting to starting to show some age and wear, odd damp smell in the main floor hallway, but overall well maintained and I would choose to stay here again for another Kings Island visit.'

'We have stayed at this property many times as we often come to visit Kings Island during the summer. Our most recent visit was less than stellar as compared to past stays. It’s unclear if there is new management or what but the front desk staff allowed the lobby to become a disaster and they were also hard to locate.'

The room wasn’t cleaned well and it showed, from the dirty food tray next to the microwave to the grime in the shower, to the white stains on the brown sofa, to the soiled carpet, the paint issues, green swimming pool water, and musty dirty smell in the room when you first enter the room. 'We wanted a budget-friendly place to stay in Mason that was clean, had cold A/C, and included breakfast, and this was exactly that! The building could use some updates, and the gym was limited with a few machines not working. The common areas and elevator weren’t well air-conditioned. However, our room was clean, and once we turned on the A/C, it was incredibly POWERFUL. Housekeeping refreshed towels, emptied trash, and restocked toiletries daily. 'I REALLY wanted to love this hotel. It’s a nice hotel, it’s clean, affordable, and the location is great. We stayed for two nights. Check-in clerk was rude from the moment I greeted him. Spoke/mumbled very fast and was immediately frustrated when I asked him to repeat himself. We went on with our stay, not wanting to let it ruin the hotel experience. 'We had a great, quick stay. Perfect if visiting Kings Island. I do wish the sheets were a tad softer, however, the property was nice, clean and well kept.'

They initially gave me the key to a room that was already occupied. They corrected the issue and I did not have any additional problems.'
