'The hotel itself is lovely, the room we stayed in was spacious, high powered shower & a mini fridge. Major issue with pigeons on the balcony, 3 nesting plus others hopping about & unfortunately with pigeons comes a horrific amount of poop! Couldn’t have window open for fear of them coming into the room. Also our breakfast experience was ruined by the chefs inability to cook eggs. Poached or fried the yolks were hard despite (not that I should have to) asking for them to be runny. This really is...

'The carpet in our room was so old and in places appeared to be mouldy… we had a tiny basin in the room (and no basin in the en-suite) which was partially overhung by a shelf that made it very difficult to use properly and was likely the cause of the mould in front of it. Our ‘en-suite’ was cramped and the shower cubicle had mould in the sealant and grout. 'We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. There is no bathroom, you have to share the one on the 2nd...

'Helpful staff. Sorted out parking. Table broken in room. Shower no pressure, dribbled out. Room fan very poor, very little air coming out even at high speed. Complimentary bodywash and shampoo so small not worth open the packed.'

'We hardly had any pressure and hot water in the shower. They had no probleem to move us to another room, which was okay. Shower cabin is a bit small for large people. Great location, though, friendly staff, there was a fridge and even a microwave. Wouldn't mind going there again.'
