'Clement, the owner of the property, was very kind and helpful. The room was simple but clean. A great value. Nice location right on the ocean and near a beautiful river. 'Maya Heights resort is one of Belize's best kept secrets. It's tucked away upon a hill with the greatest scenery. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a great stay, the restaurant experience was superior, great food and service. It was my second visit and my birthday celebration trip. Overall another awesome experience to remember! '

'The cabin was just as described. Well cared for by the care-takers Antonio and Dena. There were a lot of birds, and we saw Red-Lored Amazons among many others. Being near the river, and in a fairly dense forested area, there were mosquitoes and no-seeums. The large screened porch was a great place to enjoy the wildlife. A good BBQ was provided, the cabin was very large, and the a/c worked very well. All in all, a great stay. Recommend.'

'Vele zaken waren mis in dit hotel, wat een zogezegd top lodge zou moeten zijn. De prijs was er in ieder geval naar. De zaken die ons opvielen: slechte gordijnen (extra bed stond in de zit kamer die niet eens donker gemaakt kon worden. Het zeil van de boot had al jaren geleden vervangen moeten zijn (zaten scheuren in en kon niet goed gebruikt worden) We hadden een huisje voor 5 personen, maar er was niet eens voldoende voor een maaltijd voor 4 man....., laat staan genoeg voor een ontbijt en...

'This was our second time staying at Caribbean Shores. It's clean, comfortable, and the setting is very relaxing. The hot water wasn't working properly in our shower, but it was at least warmer than the solar showers where we stayed prior. Everything is relative. :). This property is a little ways out of Hopkins Village proper, but there are restaurants in short walking distance. 'Incredible property and staff, remote location but worth the trip to disconnect for a week. We opted for the heli arrival and departure, this is a massive time savings and worth the cost to see the beautiful reef. The house and grounds were very well maintained and the staff was amazing.
