'The property is a historic residence converted for hospitality. It's lovingly restored with modern facilities comfortable for westerners while still feeling like you're in historic Japan. The owners were amazing with coordination and really friendly. Would definitely go back and would stay longer next time!'

'We were glad we rented a car to get around. You need to have reservations for dinner or you will not be able to eat. Lastly, make sure you ask for instructions on how to run the hot water on for showering, I figured it out, but it took a while. The house is beautiful and great for families with young kids, they have a play room for kids.'

'There were public baths at the hotel, but we ran into get one last soak before check out and they were already closed forCleaning. We still had half an hour before our checkout so we would’ve loved to have a few minutes to relax our bodies after walking all day the day before.'
