'The hotel is in a beautiful location with fantastic views. It’s due for some renovation, it feels a bit worn. There were some issues in that the hallways on the upper floors have poor airflow and climate control. The room lighting is very dim. The toilet action was such that it would spit water onto the floor when flushed, which is unpleasant. The staff was very helpful but there were not enough of them…the front desk was frequently unmanned.'

'Felt like home. They do a great job offering events and music on 5he property. We had a tacos and tequila night. The beach just across the street is very accommodating with plenty 9f swim and boat gear. Great firepits for the campers to hang around and made good friends. The cabins are great but could use some updating and a little more cooking staples. Newer owners will probably remedy as they are always looking to improve.'

'Great two night getaway. First night we dined at the onsite restaurant. Very good. Only a 15 minute ride to Meredith. Walter’s Basin was a quick walk for dinner on our second night. We took a pontoon cruise around Squam Lake. Definitely recommend this! Even better if you watch On Golden Pond before you take the cruise. Our room (The Winnipesaukee) was cozy but had ample storage space. There was a refrigerator and 24 hour coffee outside our room. Fresh baked cookies were put out in the afternoon....
