« We had such a wonderful stay at this property, The Lazy Oyster. Our host made check-in a breeze and answered all of my questions ahead of time. The house was perfectly clean and decorated very tastefully. We had everything that we could need from good quality towels and sheets, to detergent, dish soap, tp, spices, games, puzzles and appliances. The view from the sunroom is fantastic and our teenage sons loved fishing and crabbing from the dock. We also did a lot of kayaking and enjoyed the hot...

« This cottage was the perfect little getaway, very cozy and intimate with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away from the world. The beach was beautiful with great sand and nice water, and the kayaks were a treat to use. The house was equipped with everything we could have needed and more. Would love to come back! »

« Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. « Pictures and description don’t do the views enough justice. Having the Bay in front and the pond/inlet behind you allowed you access to whatever kind of water day you wanted. Neighbors were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We enjoyed the beach, kayaking out back, and the multitude of searing options/fire pits to enjoy the view. Would love to stay again! »
