St. Francis Lakeside Classic Stay #1

This three-bedroom two bath condo is on the end corner of the development. There is a deck for summertime use and a wood-burning fireplace to cozy up to in the winter months. New couch and chair in the living room along with a new flat-screen TV. The condo has everything you need for a quick trip or a long stay. New mattress in the front bedroom and new pillow top on the master. Fully equipped kitchen and WiFi. St. Francis Lakeside is a lakefront development with a swimming pool, beach, pier, tennis, large indoor spa(for use during the winter), clubhouse, volleyball court, and various picnic facilities and is adjacent to the public boat launch. Easy access to bike trails and hiking. Very short drive to Tahoe City for fine dining, shopping and entertainment. The central location provides an easy drive to ski resorts like Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows and Homewood. *Parking is limited at this complex. This unit is located just off of Lake Forest Rd. there is a gravel parking pad in front of the unit. You do not enter either of the 2 entrances to the complex. NO BBQ

The indoor spa is open in the winter months - Closes 4/1/2025. The outdoor spa will open seasonally with the pool(Memorial Day).

All of our rentals come with fully equipped kitchens; most kitchens do not have pantry items due to wildlife concerns. We provide all linens and towels; most units have beach towels as well. There is a washer and dryer in every rental. Every unit has Wi-Fi. There is NO A/C, this is not commonly found in Tahoe, there are fans.

Creepy and disgusting spa

Whenever we take a ski trip, we always use the search filter to get a place to stay with a hot tub. No difference this time. The hot tub at this complex was a tub of luke warm water in a dimly lit room. No jets and no out of order sign.

The place is spacious, has access to a hot tub, and is a 20 minute drive from Palisades, Alpine, and Northstar. You're also 5 mins from the grocery store.

We went off-season so the dumpsters were locked. This made disposing of trash a little bit tricky but we found one that was unlocked. The place was nice and spacious. But the carpet was old and outdated. It was quiet and an easy drive to the slopes or to town. Beware: the hot tub does not allow anyone under the age of 18 and only has space for six. We would go back.

Awesome place to stay close to many ski resorts

Great, clean well laid out property perfect the 5 of us. Very comfortable! Hot tub and proximity to ski resorts was a big plus and self check in was seamless. Property manager communicated promptly and even was willing to let us book an extra night due to an incoming storm if we needed it. Very pleased with our stay. Thank you!

Incredibly well appointed. The kitchen is fully stocked. There are also home games to choose from, and plenty of towels and linen. The only qualm is how much you can hear the upstairs guests. Otherwise an absolutely lovely stay.

Amazing Condo!

A group of friends and I stayed at this property for a ski week and it was perfect for our needs! Great distance to northstar and Palisades, as well as into town! The place was even better than the photos! They had lots of spices and everything we needed for cooking!

Nice Condo At a Great Location

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely condo for the family ski vacation. Very close to Tahoe city shopping center and palisades Tahoe ski resort. Communication with managers very efficient and the condo kitchen supplies are outstanding. We will definitely come back again.

Great last minute getaway

Had a great long weekend at this condo. As others noted it’s definitely retro but very clean and totally functional. If the owners put in a new fridge and replaced the carpets, it would be a game changer. Comfy beds, nice towels, and plenty of kitchen items. Loved how well stocked the spice cabinet was. Complex is nice with a pool and walk to lake and pier.

Great place for family fun

The property was well maintained and the kitchen was the most stocked with essentials that I have ever seen. We were easily able to eat and play games in the condo .. and get to the pool and lake very easily. We were able to unload with very few stairs and our nephew, who is wheelchair bound, was able to come in and participate in card games. It made for a very special visit!

Nice throwback place near everything!

We loved this place and waking up in the trees after arriving at night. The view from the kitchen and living room is stellar. They have all the appliances and dish-ware you may need but be sure to pack your own coffee beans. They have an awesome grinder too. Also, be sure to bring your own shampoo, conditioner and body wash or soap.

Nice condo!

We stayed at this condo for four nights with our teen girls. The condo is adorably "retro" with burnt orange/brown carpet throughout. At first the carpet bugged me, because of its brownness - but then it grew on me. I mean, you can totally see that someone raised their precious family in this condo (on the weekends) and now are enjoying renting it to others. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you need. We cooked the entire time (Covid) and we found everything we needed in the kitchen. The condo is spacious and cozy. We didn't use the fireplace but the heat worked really well. Our teens loved the fact that there was a brown phone (early 80s style) in the living room that actually rang once! And, I was giddy when I found a 70s style brown, orange and white afghan in the closet that had to be knit by someone's grandmother from way back. I laid with it on the couch every night and I could seriously feel the essence of my Aunt Yetta coming through the holes in the blanket. Serious bonus!

Great ski vacation

The property was perfect for our family and convenient to the local ski slopes. The kitchen was well stocked and enabled us to cook our own meals after a day on the mountains. We were very comfortable and would choose this property again on our next visit. Wifi was spotty but that was disclosed when we booked and we were prepared.
