Prima hotel, qua stijl wat gedateerd maar in goede staat. De gratis leenfietsen zijn erg leuk om een uur het eiland rond te rijden en het ontbijt is goed met een erg mooi uitzicht over de haven.

Chique hotel aan de haven
Zeer tevreden over dit hotel. We waren met twee stellen en het was niet zo prettig dat we twee kamers kregen die in grootte nogal verschillend waren. Bovendien stonden op een van de twee balkons geen stoeltjes.

Zeer netjesen luxe hotel. Vriendelijk en servicegericht personeel. Mogelijkheid tot gratis gebruik van fiets en voor kleine vergoeding met bootje naar prive strand met daar handdoek, strandbedje en parasol.

It is like stepping on to the titanic. It has oldish furniture etc but it was safe, quiet and the staff were lovely. Recommend staying there Greta location.

Lovely hotel at the north western tip of Ortigia. The whole island is easily walkable and it only yook us 20 minutes ir so to walk to the archealogical park on the mainland. The staff at the hotel were all very polite, friendly and really helpful especially with our airport transfer at 4.30 am! They even packed us a fantastic breakfast to take with us. Would definitely stay with them again should we return to Sicily.

Hot, nor properly air conditioned - dated and expe
Expensive, dated and room not cooled; suites have a mezzanine, with air conditioning below. Very hot and uncomfortable stay, with 5* price. When I expressed my discomfort, greeted with a shrug of shoulders.

The service is outstanding—consistently outstanding over five visits. The hotel itself is beautiful and the location is wonderful—right on the harbor and within east walking distance to primary tourist attractions to include a World UNESCO site.

Quiet an outdated hotel. You feel like you’re on a boat with nothing to look at. Rattling air conditioner and basic bedding. Had to bring all my own luggage in and then back out. I wouldn’t book again.

Great hotel and staff. Only issue i had is that there was no iron in the room. So I had to go to dinner with clothes totally wrinkled. Called front desk and they said they have laundry service and do NOT provide irons to guests? I was in shock. Had dinner in 35 mins and no iron!! Only complaint Front desk was rude when telling me this Otherwise great hotel. Terrace on roof is spectacular, staff there beyond good! Location ideal.

The Hotel is exactly what you expect from an Italian Grand Hotel. The location is excellent, close to the city center and directly at the seafront. The rooms and interior are a bit outdated but very clean. The bar on the rooftop has a fantastic view and the service was really nice-specifically for a sundowner and the breakfast.

Wonderful. Clean cosy room over a split level so didn’t feel small like many single rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely return.

Very nice with a few flaws
Beautiful hotel with a nice rooftop where we enjoyed our breakfast. One minus: We picked the hotel because the description on hotels.com promised access to a private beach. It turned out, that arrangement was cancelled. The staff was great and arranged trips to a nearby lido but at considerably extra cost. The Wi-Fi in the room was too weak for streaming etc. Very nice experience but not flawless.
