'After a busy 10 days sight-seeing around Sicily, we found ourselves in this oasis that is Guigguilena. The greeting from Sabrina was warm and personal. The balcony of our spacious room was almost overhanging the ocean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. One evening Claudia made us a typical and very tasty Sicilian dinner. The centre of Ortigia is an easy 25 minute walk away. What more could one want?'

'Geweldig luxe B&B. Aan de kust, prachtige locatie om het zuiden en oosten van Sicilië te verkennen. Superontbijt, schitterende kamers. Enige nadeel is dat er weinig restaurants in de omgeving zijn waardoor je altijd wel even moet rijden voor je diner. Maar enorm van genoten! '

'Een prachtige b & b in het centrum van Siracusa. Op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden. De beide eigenaren, Eugenio en Marilou, zijn bijzonder aardig en behulpzaam. Luister vooral naar hun eettips. Prima plek, zou er zo weer een overnachting boeken.'

'the accommodation is quite well located yet close to a school and a connecting road. Furthermore, we have had quite a bit of trouble from the noisy neighbors upstairs. We had 2 urges that were resolved immediately, thanks to the team! due to C-19 conditions other services are difficult to evaluate.'

'Hotel is modest but overall very good check was fine and breakfast ok only thing I found an issue was the front door was locked which may sound fine but if you didn’t have you key it might be a problem. You were suppose to lock it especially at night and you had to rely on others to do so which was often not the case. There was not often a person at the desk no other issues and still worth the stay '

'Sebastiano war sehr nett und sehr freundlich. Obwohl wir über eine Stunde verspätet haben, wartete er geduldig auf uns , eine große Garten Anlage. Zimmer war klein aber für eine Nacht war ok. Es wäre schön gewesen wenn im Zimmer einen Wasserkocher gegeben hätte. Das Frühstück war sehr bedürftig - nicht nur bei ihm sondern auch in vier Sternen Hotels aber die Nettigkeiten von Sebastiano könnte alles wieder gut machen. '

'CONSIGLIATISSIMO! Spazi della camera e del bagno ampi, ambiente interno curato e profumato, pulizia accurata. La colazione solitamente viene effettuata al bar sotto la struttura, ma il lunedì essendo chiuso ci hanno mandato in un altro bar nella strada di fronte. Comodissimo e molto buono. '

'We found the apartament with no issues and Caroline (the owner) seemed lovely. The place was very quirky and had a pleasant vibe to it. Unfortunately, this is where the positives end. I was hugely disappointed that the images on hotels.com were labeled completely incorrectly. The room was supposed to have a private balcony with a sea view. Also a bathroom with a sea view… both falsely advertised. The sea view was visible only from the front entrance of the house, not from the room. The room had...

'Byssus Suites are situated in the port area of Siracusa in a completely renovated building which offers style, luxury and comfort. Our suite was spacious, beautifully decorated and, along with a very comfortable bed, offered a private steam room which we loved. Breakfast was served in the building next door which is part of the hotel and also contains a fish shop and excellent restaurant. There was a big selection of food offered for breakfast, individually prepared eggs etc. and excellent...
