'We checked in on Friday and checked out on Monday everything was clean and ready for us we swam in the pond, did a bunch of fishing (bass were biting before dark every night) we hiked to the little water fall on the property, and celebrated my daughters 13th birthday with family, had a big sea food boil enough to feed an army and made enough memories to last a life time! 'My extended family has been gathering together somewhere each summer for the last 30+ years. This year we chose this property. It was a great venue for us. The big pool was the main draw as always and having the cover was wonderful in the rain. The lodges were clean and welcoming and accommodated our crowd well. There were two issues we encountered but the Leah was easy to reach and had the property manager working on them promptly. Overall excellent property.'

'Our extended family enjoyed our stay in spite of the few rainy days. The house has plenty of space and invites small group conversations as well as gathering of the clan for meals and activities. 'Wonderful weekend at a wonderful property! We wanted to escape for some peace and quiet, just the 4 of us, and Blue Elk Lodge delivered! Spacious kitchen/common area, very comfortable beds and linens, and everything we could need or ask for! Only there for a few days, but enjoyed walkabouts on the property, met a very nice neighbor and ventured into Clifford and Carbondale. Would definitely return!!!!!
