"The property was clean and as listed upon arrival. Our son loved having the water right up the the house and being able to fish. The house was well furnished, had extra blankets and adequate kitchen supplies. Any drawbacks were minor; limited food storage (pantry) space and limited local entertainment . We knew trash removal was our responsibility but struggled to find somewhere to take it. A local told us about stickers and that trash day was Thursday. Great getaway for a rustic experience. "This property is convenient to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. The kitchen was nice for our group to cook breakfast together. The house had lots of spaces to visit and plenty of seating both at the tables and in the common areas. Upstairs had no electrical outlets and smelled musty but we were able to work around the lack of electrical outlets and always travel with air freshener so it was okay."
