Donna, was an amazing host! She would answer our messages right away, provided a guide on thing to do in the area along with other important contact info. The amenities were more than what we expected. The Western Town that was created in their 4 acres was fun and filled with all sorts of games to use. The cabin had all the kitchen utensils that we needed for cooking and BBQing. The basement was also filled with all types of games. The house was clean and very cozy. We all loved our stay and highly recommend Simply Serene.

We booked our stay for our 20th anniversary for a few days together and later our friends joined for a few days. The home and property are AMAZING! Donna and Paul have left no details out when preparing this home for your visit! The inside is beautiful with PLENTY to do for all ages, even us as adults loved the treasure hunt! The outside is just serene and relaxing. Our friends are even looking to visit with their family soon. If you come across this home DEFINITELY BOOK IT!

Friendly people and a wonderful vacation home

Before we even got to the house, I had a few delightful messages with Donna, and she is so pleasant and friendly. We met Paul on our way out and he was very nice as well. My husband took me to their home for a 5 day break from work and my 50th birthday. Upon arrival and looking through the house to see what was where, we found it took vacation home hospitality to another level. Some really thoughtful amenities and every room was nice and clean. We had rain for 4 of the 5 days, but we made the most of all the outdoor activities on the one nice day and still had plenty of fun indoor options, the others. With the great game room and the hot tub was covered so we were able to use it a couple times, we still had a fun and relaxing trip. If you do go stay at the Harvan's lovely vacation home, you will find that they have really thought of everything to keep adults and the young ones busy and happy on a vacation that is... Simply Serene. Enjoy!

Amazing Holiday!

My husband and our sons stayed at this property over the holiday. The owners made sure that there was a tree and decorations, making it even more special for my children! The house not only had an incredible amount of fun amenities, but was also very clean! The owners were always available if we had questions. We would highly recommend this property to anyone! It was just perfect for us. We had another family visit for a couple days, and it comfortably fit 8 people. It’s close to skiing and a wolf perseveration, which we recommend doing. All-in-all a perfect holiday getaway!

Everything you need and more.

We wanted a place for a quick getaway with the family. This house was perfect. We only had to leave once for some groceries. Otherwise we had every amenity we needed and then some. The kids (3&5) bounced from one activity or game to the next. Some rentals I have been to have very minimal supplies or houseware. Paul and Donna have gone above and beyond to supply anything you could possibly need from a fan, baby gate , stool for kids at the sink and not to name the surplus of kitchen appliances. We appreciated the welcome gift and the snacks left for the kids. We would definitely stay again with the family or could be fun as an adult friends getaway.

Definitely Book It!

We wanted to get away from the hustle and bustle for our honeymoon, and this property absolutely delivered! As soon as we pulled into the driveway, we were transported to the most quiet, relaxing place we’ve been in years. The house itself was very clean and fresh from top to bottom. Our hosts provided a helpful book on basic rules (which were completely reasonable) and suggested attractions/important locations in the area. Outside was an absolute oasis. We took full advantage of the soaking pool, hot tub, sauna, various loungers and seating options, and of course mini golf! The downstairs game room provided plenty of fun as well with an assortment of activities. They even have props for fun little photo shoots out in the mini western village outside! Communication with our hosts was a breeze and they were extremely friendly and prompt in replying. I can’t say enough good things about our experience. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway for just you and your significant other, or a trip with the whole family, this is it! Just book it! :)

Private Oasis

The property was very clean and had all the amenities and then some. The yard was private and perfect placement of the hot tub and pool. We did not have any kids with us but I could see how this would be a wonderful stay for families with all the activities just on the property. The owners were easy to reach and they provided very explicit directions about the property and appliances.

Great Family Getaway

My husband and I stayed here with our two boys, ages 9 and 10, and it made for a wonderful family trip. The house itself is beautiful and impeccably clean. Every room took comfort and design in mind. Every detail was well thought out in terms of making the place feel like home away from home - stocked kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, easy sign-in access to TV subscriptions, and more. The highlight for our family was the game room and backyard. The backyard is huge and we spent a lot of time playing every sport we could, but even when it was raining there was a ton of fun to be had indoors. The house feels very private, but you're only about a 15min drive from numerous restaurants, supermarkets, and stores. The hosts were a pleasure, very accommodating, and responded to any questions we had within minutes. We can't wait to return!

From the moment you arrive, the picturesque farm house invites you to embrace the tranquility of the countryside, surrounded by forests and stunning landscapes. Inside, the farmhouse exudes a timeless charm with its carefully curated decor, complete with cowboy memorabilia and weathered wood finishes.The meticulous attention to detail in the Farmhouse decor effortlessly blends with Wild West-inspired decor and motifs, creating an aesthetic that is both inviting and visually striking. The attention to detail extends to the outdoor areas, adorned with a vintage wagon and carts, weathered barrels, rustic wheels, old farming artifacts, and even an entire authentic frontier town adding character, and authenticity to this unique property and making the outdoor space truly captivating. The frontier town features a Saloon with real swing doors, Marshall’s office with wanted posters, Bank with bags of money, Jail house, an Outlaw photo frame, lassoing, authentic laundry wringer, and a prospector log house. Simply Serene goes above and beyond with indoor/outdoor amenities and activities.(Too many to name).There is truly something for everyone! Donna & Paul are exceptional hosts. Beautiful fun home!

This home was so much fun for our entire family of all ages. It accommodated us all very well from sleeping to plenty of space and activities. Our family needed a different scenery for vacation. We always go to the beach. This beautiful home was only an hour and 20 minutes away from our house. It was just a perfect vacation spot we needed to spend quality time together.

A beautiful getaway

We had 8 people stay at this home and we had a great time there. They have loads of outdoor equipment to play games with each other. Volleyball, croquet, badminton, laser tag, soccer, lacrosse, you name it. We had a crazy volleyball match going for a good 2 hours one day and then relaxed in the hot tub. It was nice. There was a minor problem though. The house was so nice to relax in we didnt even go out anywhere one day. The kitchen is loaded with tools and appliances so you can easily cook there instead of eating out. Being able to grill was nice. We could not have asked for a better place to stay on this vacation and way better than just staying at a boring hotel.

All I wanted and more

Although this was my first time staying at this property I knew what to expect bc I’ve stayed in another property owned by the same host. The house and grounds are amazing. Really beautiful and super clean. The host provides more than the essentials and quite frankly way more than is needed. That is what is great about these hosts. They anticipate all your needs. Communication is thorough with a quick response time. I would absolutely stay here again.
