Nöjd !

Super service på all sätt !!! Tok skön säng och självklart en fantastisk utsikt. Interesanta historiska bilder överallt på hotellet. Väldig litet badrum, knappt man kom in.

Vista spettacolare e vicinissimo al paese

Dall‘albergo si ha una vista spettacolare su tutto il Fjordo. Consiglio di prenotare una stanza con la vista. La nostra stanza era un po‘ piccola, nell‘insieme comunque tutto bene, letto comodo, bagno pulito e la colazione molto buona.Era una delle poche volte dove c’era anche il parcheggio per l‘auto. Unica pecca non c’è un ascensore e se devi - come noi - portare delle valigie dal parcheggio al terzo piano fai un bel po‘ di fatica, ma é un dettaglio su cui sorvolare. Inoltre considerando la zona ottimo rapporto qualità e prezzo.

I was not pleased with this Hotel. I booked 2 Family Rooms that could have housed 4 people each. I received an email from Expedia saying that the price for each room was based on 3 people. I originally booked the rooms for 5 people but had to adjust to 7 later on. When I checked in, I was charged for 2 additional people. While I did not feel that I should have been charged anything extra as they were family rooms and advertised space for 4 people in each room, with the email sent saying that each room price was based on 3 occupants I was willing to pay for one extra person. They would not accept that and I was charged for two additional people as they said that I was paying the extra for bedding and breakfast. Interesting though that there was no additional bedding, they did not clean or give us new towels during our stay. I can understand the breakfast but again the room cost allowed for 6 people anyway. Not worth the price.

Hello Terri,I'm sorry to hear that you were not pleased with your stay. You booked 2 rooms, 1 for 2 guests and 1 for 3 guests. They had different prices based on the number of guests from the start, so already during booking you were informed about these prices. Then you informed us that you would come with 2 more guests. We answered you the same day with a confirmation that this was no problem and informed you about the extra charge, 2 months before you arrived. So this was not a surprise at all, rather you chosing to not read the response to the message you send us. And blaming us for that is not realy fair.Regardless, I hope you still enjoyed your time in Geiranger.

Property has a unique location. View is fantastic. We had a late check in and the lady at the reception was very friendly. Rooms are extremely small and had basic amenities but the view was spectacular and it compensated for everything else. Highway 55 was an exciting drive. Shocked at the breakfast deadline given by the young lady who announced in a cold tone that they would be closing the breakfast room door at 10 AM and at 10.05 AM one would need to take plate and cutlery out and sit and eat at the table in the front reception. Felt we were in a boarding school than in one of the good hotels in Norway. Never experienced this in all my previous travels. Pierre at the front reception was great.

Dyrt hotel uden megen udsigt og service

Vi skulle have haft udsigt til have, men det var en skråning, hvor fra der for nyligt var fældet træer. Træerne blev afhentet kl. 22.30, og blev tilpasset med motorsav. Det var lig med karm ved sengetid. Badeværelset var et af de mindste hotelbadeværelser, jeg har oplevet. Værelset havde hverken fjernsyn eller kogekedel. Det er ingen elevator. Der er end ikke udsigt fra det rum, man får morgenmad i. Så med mindre man er lovet et værelse med udsigt, så er der ingen udsigt; til gengæld er det det dyreste hotel vi overnattede på på vores tur til Norge, og det med mindst service. Så vil du have udsigt i Geiranger, så nyd udsigtsposterne. Udsigten et fantastisk, men spring Hotel Udsigten over.

I'm sorry to read that you've had this experience. The neighbour choose an unfortunate time to take his trees. When it comes to the view from the room, this is something you choose yourself when making the reservation and you choose a room with views to the garden, not the fjord. However, the fjord view can also be seen from the lobby and the hotels 3 balconies. Nontheless, we hope you've enjoyed your stay in our beautiful Geiranger!

Unbeatable views of the fjord. Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but considering where its built they are quite adequate. Overall we had a great experience. Good restaurant and breakfast too.

Nydelig utsikt!

Meget bra hotell, bra parkering, nydelig utsikt, gratis kaffe og tilbehør på ettermiddag, hyggelig betjening, meget god mat og nok viner å velge mellom. Litt små rom, men det betyr ikke så mye. Man bør velge utsiktsrom selv det koster litt ekstra, er som å se et maleri ut av panoramavinduene!

Romantic getaway with cozy beds and good food

A gorgeous hotel! One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is clean and has great views. Really nice attention to details from the real candles they light at dinner to the linens. The bed was cozy and soft and the blackout curtains effective. Dinner was very good for a vegetarian and non-vegetarian and breakfast good too. Coffee is good and strong. The little cozy lounge with an amazing view of the fjord was fantastic. It was crowded on the streets so my husband and I hung out there got some work done on our creative project on the computer. Pay a little more and stay in the fjord-view suite! It’s so worth it. Very romantic place.
