'We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was clean and very well furnished. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Great communication with the host. We enjoyed the location as it was countyside but close to amenities in town. However, we were not able to go outside due to the spongy moth infestation. The water was fine to drink but the smell from using the water, especially in the bathroom, was overwhelming.'

'The Archer Log Cabin was sweet and comfortable with a full kitchen, bath and laundry. It even had a little desk in the laundry room. The bed was comfortable . We only used one of the two bedrooms. The surrounding woods were peaceful. We enjoyed hiking on trails in the state park and hope to get back sometime in the winter to cross country ski. We appreciated the coffee . We will be back. It was a quiet place to rest and refresh.'

Incredibly clean, great communication with the owners, and well stocked home with games, puzzles, outside toys / kayaks, etc. The lake is smaller which leads to a bit more moss / plant growth (vs sandy bottom) but kids had a great time out on the swimming platform after taking out kayaks. 'The last time we stayed here with some friends in the winter and enjoyed this wonderful home so we decided to come back in the summer. We used this as our respite from riding the ATV trails. It was great to unload our ATVs here and just ride from the house. We wish that we had more time to enjoy all the amenities of the outdoors around the home but sadly we didn't have time. 'The space was great for two couples and our dog. This is a lovely location with a nice view of Eagle Harbor. We enjoyed the sunny front yard in the afternoon. The place was well stocked for cooking and grilling. Very quiet with easy access to other areas of Door County.'
