Location is the most important thing for a ski resort vacation, and this property has one of the best ski in ski out locations in all of Steamboat Springs. It also has a lot of other features and amenities to appreciate. Welcome to Ironwood 4, by Mountain Vacation Lodging.

The Location in Winter:
Within 150-200 meters of your door, you have both Gondolas, the Christie Peak Express, the ticket office, groceries, restaurants, bars, and more. The ski in ski out access is very easy. You can ski back to within 30 meters of your door, on beginner level slopes. Do you like to hit the slopes early, or stay out late? Maybe someone needs to shed a clothing layer on a warm day, or just take a break with some hot cocoa on a cold day. At this property, coming and going is easy for young and old alike. If the rest of your crew isn't ready, there's nothing stopping you from getting out there and doing a lap. If someone is tired and wants to head home before you are ready to call it a day - no problem. Come home for lunch and save some money. Stroll around the base area for apres ski food and drinks. Steamboat Square and its stage hosts free concerts and other events such as the Cowboy Downhill.

The Location in Summer:
When the snow melts, Burgess Creek fills up, and flows right through your back yard. Relax on the deck with the sounds of rushing water. Keep an eye out for moose - they love the water and willows. Over by the gondolas, the creek is mellow and bordered by beaches, rock ledges, and lawn areas with picnic tables and lounge chairs. Kids can play while parents relax. The gondolas run for hiking and mountain biking. Enjoy free summer concerts, festivals and events with ease, and retreat back to your creekside home when you're ready to relax.

The Property:
Ironwood 4 has a large open living space where everyone can gather. Vaulted ceilings give this already substantial room a very spacious feel. It features leather furniture, floor to ceiling stone surrounding the gas fireplace, and a view of the large Smart TV from anywhere in the room. The dining table seats 8 plus you have kitchen bar seating for 3. The townhome has the right ratio: 4 bathrooms, one for each of the 4 bedrooms. Bonus spaces include a laundry room, mud room, and heated garage with boot dryers and gear storage. You'll have two decks out back facing Burgess Creek. Out front, there are 2 large in ground hot tubs along with a BBQ grill.

Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have. Accessing this property requires two steps up to enter. From there you have one flight up and one flight down. For parking, you have a heated one car garage as well as one reserved outdoor space immediately in front of the garage. The development has some shared parking spaces which are available on a first come first served basis. If you expect to have more than 2 vehicles, please contact us to discuss options for any additional vehicles, should the shared parking be full. The entire development has heated concrete so snow storage does not get in the way of parking. Please note, campers, RVs, and trailers are not permitted.

** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. This unit has AC in the upper level and primary bedroom suite. The lower level stays cool naturally.
** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit.
