'The host, his wife and son were very kind and friendly. The accommodation was exceptional. A wonderful, peaceful and central base for exploring Amsterdam. Not touristy more a locals area of the city. Couple of minor things was cold in the hanging bed my son said. It is January to be fair so I imagine in summer that bed area would be a blessing The spiral stairscase is stunning but you need to be fit to get up and down them. 'Fantastic place to stay with excellent service from Mario and his staff. Group of 5 women celebrating our 50th birthdays. Apartment was clean and roomy, beds were comfortable, bathroom includes a shower and nice size tub with a separate toilet room. There are several stairs but the hosts deliver your luggage to make it super easy for guests. We enjoyed the patio day and night. Adjacent to the red light district but always felt safe and the area had several restaurants, cafes and a grocery store...
