« This is my second time staying up on Lydia Mountain. The first time was in a cabin Mystic Mist with friends. My husband and I needed a little getaway, so we booked a room at the lodge for Thanksgiving. The room was so very clean and nice and loved the elec fireplace. « We stayed in the Schoolhouse Room at Lydia Mountain Lodge and absolutely loved it! The room was so clean and cute, with a beautiful view that made our stay extra relaxing. The lodge itself has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and the restaurant was wonderful — great food and excellent service from start to finish. « This was a beautiful place to stay. The only complaint I would have with this is we could hear everything from other rooms. Almost as if the walls were paper thin! We could literally hear the people next to us talking. »

« Everything was great but I would suggest that when the lodge is full that you have better restaurant coverage. It took almost 2 hours to get breakfast on Friday and service was slow on Sunday. I would also suggest updating the info folder in each room as they are very outdated. »

« The host, Jen, was super friendly. You’re literally right on her farm so you see her out and about regularly with the animals. My son loved being able to roam around and see the chickens, especially. The old 1800s cabin is super cool. Just an all around awesome time unplugging from the world and reconnecting with family. »
