Fantastic Stay

My sister and I loved this place! It was private and very quiet. The location was perfect and the view was a perfect place to sip morning coffee. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner, but didn’t take away from our fantastic experience. We would definitely come back.

Beautiful views

Property was clean and provided everything we needed for a short vacation including beach chairs. Driveway was a sharp hairpin curve. The sunset was incredible.

Wonderful property!

We had a great stay! The description and reviews are accurate. The ladder to the 2nd bedroom is steep, but manageable. Amazing views! We did not rent a car and we’re easily able to call for taxis. It was everything we needed. Would stay again!

Beautiful views

The property was exactly as described in the post. The views from all levels were beautiful. The teens loved having a great view from their separate place up the ladder. Plenty of space for us and we were thankful for the cooler, beach chairs and sand castle building toys.

Great place. Great view. Comfortable bed. Good pool. Great communication. A few notes for future renters, the hill is quite the challenge and my wife and I are in good shape. We did it a few times but definitely preferred taking a cab or driving up the hill.

Wonderful get away.

Great location however, the road up to the condo can not be under estimated. You really do need to rent a car or be prepared to spend a lot in taxi fair. Condo was very nicely furnished and wonder view.

Our second visit

This was our fourth trip to the island and our second stay at Mosaic Sunset. The location of the property is perfect. Less than a 1 min drive into downtown Cruz Bay where we enjoyed dinner every night. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and allowed us to make a delicious Christmas dinner right in the Condo! The kids enjoyed the pool every day, even after long days at the beach! The view from the balcony is hard to beat…I dream about getting back to watch just one more sunset!

Great Views Great Condo

Lovely condo!! Rented it for my mother's visit. Clean, great location, beautiful views & large pool. This unit has everything you would need, yet open & airy. Small issue with the toilet and it was addressed & fixed within a few hours. Booking was simple & friendly! Would definitely recommend Cruz Views!!

Overall satisfied

The location was fantastic. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired when we first arrived. I sent an email with pictures of the lack of cleaning prior to our arrival and the owner was very responsive in getting that issue resolved. Once the place was clean it was fantastic! The only recommendation I would give is to provide more than four bath towels for three people for one week.

Quiet yet Close to Cruz Bay

This was our first time staying near Cruz Bay, as we usually like to stay close to Coral Bay. This condo was just a few minutes from town, and yet it was quiet and peaceful most of the time. We thought it was nicer in person than what the pictures portrayed online, and we all liked it a lot. The upper bedroom is accessed by more of a ladder so it may not be ideal for younger children.

Would highly recommend!

Fantastic property! Clean with updated amenities. The pool is a total bonus for cooling off after a day in the sun or an early morning swim. It has a grill which is really nice to be able to eat-in instead of going out every night. It is walkable to town and food stores - but - you must be in very good shape to be able to tackle the hill that leads you to town. We loved it for an intense, but short workout:) There are taxis as well. A consideration is to access the loft bedroom you must climb stairs that are vertical/attached to the wall. Luckily a friend took that room to sleep in as it was too much for me. Overall we would go back and stay in the same condo in a heartbeat!

Great location and view!

Absolutely loved the view from this place! Can see Cruz Bay and the town. Cute place for our family with the living room/kitchen, main bedroom and bathroom on second floor and then the loft up the ladder with two twin beds. Didn't realize the water was on a cistern, but it was all good- the view and location trumped everything. Used bottled water to drink. Could have used a couple more beach/pool towels. Town is just down the hill- only 2 minutes. It is walkable if you really want to try, but we chose to drive just because of the heat and kids. Cozy location with just a couple other connected places and a pool. Was quiet and laid back while we were there. We would definitely rent here again - layout, location, view met our expectations!

A perfect fit for our family

The condo complex is a bit older, but they had everything looking sharp with a fresh coat of paint, a clean pool, and tidy landscaping. Inside the unit was clean too. The ladder to the upstairs bedroom requires some agility, but no problem for our teens. (I'd hope the landlord would put a mat at the bottom before a child falls onto that hard tile) Good A/C, well equipped kitchen, good internet and TV, but the couch is on its last leg. We had a problem with a clogged drain, but the manager took care of it promptly. The balcony has a nice view. For some reason the sounds of every unit are amplified in this outdoor space so you hear every word said and any music played even quietly. (It might help a little, if owners were to extend privacy wall so it went all the way to the roof) We were lucky to have only quiet older couples present near us, but if you came when the pool was in use by kids, it would not be peaceful. I loved the steep hill to finish off a morning walk with a good sweat, but after the family walked to dinner our first night I could not get them to do it again. This place was perfect for us.

Amazing views, be aware of the ladder to the second bedroom

The apartment is beautiful, modern, artistic, and tasteful. The views are amazing - both from the living room/terrace, and from the “crow’s nest”. We had everything we needed, and the kitchen was fully equipped. Now, for the ships’ ladder to the second bedroom - there was no picture of it, and I didn’t realize how high you have to climb. My husband and I don’t think it is safe for children to sleep upstairs. For younger kids it’s out of the question, we didn’t even let our 11 years old sleep there. It is very realistic for children to wake up at night to go to the bathroom (or for whatever reason), be disoriented and not realizing in the dark in their sleepy state that they are not at home, and take a plunge straight down the ladder opening. The problem is not going up and down the stairs, but if the child wakes up at night. I ended up sleeping upstairs with my teen daughter, and even that I thought it was fun the first day, it was too much for me by the end of the week climbing up and down after a full day of hiking and snorkeling. And it was difficult to bring things up and down since you need both hands for holding on to the rail/ladder. As for the location - it’s perfect. It is 2 minutes drive from the town center, and you can also walk to town (though it’s not too pleasant in the section of the main road that doesn’t have sidewalks), probably took us 10 mins.
