The property was wonderful, the view was breathtaking. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great and the service was efficient.
I experienced two main issues:-
1. I requested the airport shuttle for my arrival. I was told the driver would be waiting for me at the airport with sign bearing my name. The driver never showed. Another shuttle driver at the airport noticed I was there for a whole and offered me a phone call. When I got in contact with the driver named Annie, she informed me she was unaware of my pick up and then stated that maybe she didnt check her msgs and then proceed to tell me 'you can just take another taxi'. I was flabbergasted at the dismissal. The hotel was notified and they informed me that she was in fact sent the information. Nevertheless that was quite unprofessional and did not reflect well on Bay House. Maybe they would need to consider utilizing a more reliable shuttle service provider.
2. The bathroom, although clean and spacious needs to be updated. It felt more like a facility shower rather than a hotel room bathroom. It should be modelled to match the estate house esthetics. The mirror above the face sink was also inappropriate as it appeared to be a vertical mirror used horizontally so your image was skewed. The lighting was also insufficient and there were no plugs in the bathroom
Another positive note, the second driver recommended by the hotel was absolutely the most efficient and accommodating. King Js Taxi Service 👏
