3 chambres face à l'océan pour une vue sans faille Summerhouse 252

Ceci est notre vue sur l'océan de trois chambres / deux salles de bain. Vous entrez au premier étage et vous n'aurez pas à vous soucier de monter les escaliers. Cela rend votre séjour plus pratique sans avoir à transporter de l'équipement de plage dans les escaliers. L'unité a assez pour dormir sept. Il est meublé d'un roi dans la suite principale, d'un roi dans la deuxième chambre et de deux lits jumeaux dans notre troisième chambre. N'accepte pas les réservations pour moins d'une semaine. Carrelage partout, ce qui le rend frais pour l'été et se nettoie facilement du sable. À Summerhouse, nous avons 4 piscines à température régulée au choix sur la propriété, ce qui rend la baignade confortable toute l'année! Il y a également quatre courts de tennis, deux courts de racquetball et un terrain de pickleball. Nous avons deux zones de grillades et deux aires de jeux pour les enfants idéalement situées à chaque extrémité de la propriété. Notre espace commun autour des piscines est couvert d'herbe luxuriante et bien entretenue à quelques pas de la plage. Notre unité de location dispose d'un personnel de réception convivial et d'une maintenance sur place pour aider à résoudre rapidement tout problème s'il devait survenir. Nous avons une petite bibliothèque et une salle de sport disponibles pendant les heures normales de bureau pour votre commodité.

Reviewer Comments: We had a good experience other than finding a snake in my husbands shoe after he took it off and left them in the bedroom for about an hour and our two year old grandson went to put his foot in them and said “ewe”. Yep, there was the snake sitting there looking out at us!!! Needless to say, I did not sleep that night waiting for his siblings and mom to show up next. The home itself was good except the bed in first bedroom is SO hard that it felt the same as sleeping on the floor. The keys that we were given were very hard to unlock the door with and we learned that you had to continually wiggle it until it would finally open. (It took about 7 to 10 wiggles) We did like the convenience of the end unit of course. I’m not sure that we would rent that unit again though.

Can’t beat the location and view..this year we had some nice updates like new paint and some new furniture. However, the bathrooms and kitchen are dated. Maybe that’s coming in the future?

Disappointing Accomodations

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this same condo for several years and its condition continues to decline! (While its rental fee increases!) The furnishings are old, drawers of dressers are broken, there is mold visible on walls in bathroom and ceilings, water leaks near front door and back door, it desperately needs paint, rug in living room is filthy (we had a 9 month old crawling around ) and the overall condition is very poor for an expensive oceanfront rental.

The master bathroom has a strong odor of urine! Bathroom faucets spray all over the place. Beds need new pillows. The sliding glass door is extremely difficult to open. My 8 and 9 year old grandchildren were unable to open. I feel this is a fire hazard! The screen door also needs replaced or at least new rollers.The electric grill doesn’t work. I have rented this unit for 3 years now and these are the same issues I have put on my survey, with no improvements.

The location of the condo is perfect for getting to the beach. The condo could use some improvements. The bathrooms are old and dingy. Neither bathroom had a working lock, which I've seen in other reviews and am surprised such an easy fix has not been made. The sliding back door is very difficult to open. On our last morning we went for a walk on the beach and came back to find that our code to get back in the gate was turned off. We were locked out. This is unacceptable. If you pay to have the unit until 10am then your beach code should work until then.

If you were outside you couldn't open it to get back in the unit . We had to leave a small crack to get out hand through to be able to open it . The other issue was the master bathroom door would not lock. Other than those two things we loved our unit 252.

Can't see the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Summerhouse but we are having trouble with not being able to see the beach from our beach front condo. I had the same problem but got it resolved but this year no one would listen even though I spoke with the EPA and the county. I also gave them information of who to contact with the EPA to resolve this for the future. The reason we pay more to have a beach front condo is so we can see the beach but the vegetation keeps that from happening. This has been give to the manager so that all the condos on the beach will have a clear view. Hopefully they will do something about it because there is no reason not to according to the EPA. It is a shame that they don't just handle this instead of the customer having to do this and follow up themselves.

2019 Harvey Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our ocean front unit 252. The only downside was the bushes in front was blocking the view of the ocean from the patio unless you were standing up. The whole point of ocean front is the view of the beach and ocean . I am a morning person and love to have my coffee and watch the sun rise over the ocean . Having to standup was definitely not a good expierence . We did ask to have the bushes slightly trimmed to allow us to see the view and it never happened . Other than that our stay was definitely enjoyable. WE love Summerhouse and have been coming for about 30 years.

The beds were comfortable and the 3bed/2bath layout works well for sharing with family! Very happy to see several good quality patio chairs. Dining table seats 8 which is nice, and the living room furniture is very comfy and the TV is huge! Proximity to pool is a big plus. :)

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family enjoyed our stay in unit 252. We had a few things that need attention . The sliding door was very hard to open, maintenance came and oiled it , that didn't help ,the guy said the track and wheels needed to be replaced to correct the problem. The oven in the stove needs some work , we tried to bake cookies and biscuits and they would brown on the top like they were done and be raw in the middle and bottom , probably just the element needs replacing .We did see a few roaches in the kitchen area not a lot , the hall bathroom door would not lock , so we had to keep a watch when someone went in to shower. All in All our stay was great , with the exception of the pool in our area being closed for maintenance , which does happen and can't be helped . Things happen. Summerhouse has a great location and has always been family oriented . The front office staff could use more training in the customer service area . But after speaking with the GM and being told we were not the only ones who had problems in that area , I feel that issue will be addressed by the management and quickly.
