« Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. « Our stay was a journey down memory lane for me. The hotel was still lovely and popular, the room was clean and albeit small as a twin, it was in keeping with such a historic building and the lady on the bar, who checked us in couldn’t be more welcoming. The kitchen even catered amazingly for a veggie and a vegan option breakfast. « Stunning location but Very Small old TV in the room, sadly no hot water at 6pm one evening… a hot bath intended after a long hike…sadly din’t happen. Good food, good beer and friendly staff. Close to road so some road noise on a night and early morning. »
