Spirit Lake VRBO
Wow, not the best! I have never left a bad review so here goes. We wanted to get away with family and celebrate the end of my wifes cancer treatments and being cancer free!!!! We picked spirit lake because of its location in the mountains and its closeness to Silverwood Theme park. As a courtesy we messaged VRBO (vacasa) asking if we could have other family over for dinner. Just dinner. We were told no! That the property had strict rules about additional guests. Oh well. We arrived and things looked pretty nice! The yard wasnt mowed and the weeds have taken over. That night the upstairs bed collapsed. We moved the matress to the floor and notified vacasa the next morning. Not cool!!! They came the next morning and fixed it temporarily, I was told. I asked if the could keep in contact with me as we were at Silverwood. Never heard from anybody until the next day. Thanks for staying in contact! Checkout is 10am. We asked if we could get more time to checkout. The answer was no. Here is a list of all the things that we found needed fixed.1. The upstairs bed.2. Hand rail loose.3. Walk to the dock not great. 78 stairs.4. Washing machine doesn't spin out the water.5. No locks on the bedroom doors. 6. Listing said air-conditioned. Only they were not put in the windows!!!7. Shower door sticks.8. Coffee pot leaks.9. Looks like a candle was spilled in the downstairs bedroom in the corner. VACASA KEPT ASKING WHAT THEY COULD DO TO IMPROVE OUR STAY. YEAH RIGHT!!!!
