Killiechonate Estate is a 10-minute drive from Spean Bridge and its amenities. There are lots of walking and mountain bike routes on the Estate close by, with spectacular mountain, woodland and river views. Spean Bridge itself is surrounded by numerous trails and hikes, all of which are worth the trek! If you are a keen golfer, the village has its own golf club which is open to visitors. Fort William the ’outdoor capital of the UK’, Nevis Range Ski Centre and the world championship mountain bike track are approximately 10 miles’ drive.

This area of the Highlands is renowned for its spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife, where you can take a trip on the Jacobite steam train, visit stunning castles and gardens, sail to the beautiful island of Mull, take trips to the Small Isles or spend a day exploring the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. For the outdoor enthusiast climbing, walking, skiing, mountain biking, fishing, golf, horse riding and various watersports are available close by. Inverness, Loch Ness, Aviemore and the Isle of Skye are easily accessible by car.
