Cottages in Southeast Pennsylvania

'What a wonderful weekend! We were in town with two other families to watch our boys play lacrosse in a tournament. Instead of staying in a boring hotel we had this beautiful retreat in the woods after a long day of games. Parents sat by the fire and relaxed while the boys played pickleball, kayaked, yard games, etc. Our only regret is that it took us 5 years of traveling for sports to figure this out!! Thanks for a great weekend--we hope to be back next summer.'

'Beautiful home and property'

'Small, clean room with a comfortable bed. Great location in the heart of Jim Thorpe. The problem for us was that there is just one parking space which was occupied and parking in Jim Thorpe is quite difficult to find, especially for overnight parking. If the space is available, you are all set. If not, good luck finding a place to park where you wont get a ticket.'

'Country living with a beautiful outdoor pool and pond.'

'Beautiful setting located in between farmland. Sat on the patio at night and watched the Amish travel by on horse. There is a wonderful Amish BBQ stand a few hundred meters away that is open on Saturdays. The location is like 12 to 20 minutes away from most touristy things to see. The Cottage was comfortable.'

'We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back soon.'

'Some things we liked: the TV is huge, couch and upstairs bed are comfy, the private dock, felt like a safe location, responsiveness of the host, board games provided Some things we didn’t like: none of the fire alarms were installed (they were all sitting on top of the cupboards in a pile), the breaker to the fridge, washer, and back room tripped more times than I can count on my fingers and toes for a 4-night stay, wet towels left in the washer, comforter in the small room smelled like urine,...
