'Het hotel is nog volop in renovatie en daardoor erg proper. De inrichting is echt wel leuk gedaan, met thema’s en gewoon veel smaak en persoonlijkheid. Toen wij er waren (september 2025) was echter het restaurant nog niet af, wat ons op voorhand niet verteld was. Ook in hun communicatie online en offline spreken ze al over een bar en restaurant, hoewel dat volgens de receptioniste pas volgend zomerseizoen af zijn. 'The check in was easy, the house was clean and comfortable and in a convenient location. The electric fireplace was great for warming up after a cold walk on the beach. One thing to note if you are bringing dogs is that when you arrive, there is a sign asking you to try not to leave your dog unattended in the house and the info book says not to let your dogs on the furniture. Both are typically listed on the property description and would have been good to know before booking. '

'Beautiful cottage with all you could need and more! Truly a home away from home in many ways. From the very comfortable bed to the fresh eggs, coffee, and snacks, the owners do an unbelievable job at making you feel welcome, comfortable and cared for during your stay.'

'Kitchen could use a k cup coffee maker and large frying pan. Light bulb on microwave was out. Clock on stove was broken and the stove said hot surface even when it was never turned. Upstairs toilet kept running. Basement carpet had some stains. All just minor things that need attention. Overall really loved the place. Hope to come back next year!'
