'I made a reservation through Expedia/VRBO, and the host canceled less than 24 hours before check-in without providing any explanation. When I contacted Expedia, they were not aware that the reservation had been canceled. I then contacted VRBO, where the listing was posted. VRBO was unable to reach the host to determine the reason for the cancellation and could only confirm that the reservation had been active and fully confirmed in their system. 'Great location, beautiful condo, and super easy to communicate with the owners. My husband and I came to Tahoe for our anniversary. The condo is a lovely place to stay, well equipped kitchen and bathroom, nice living room with a view of the pool, and a super comfortable bed. 'Please be aware that this is not a real VRBO property, but instead a time share. When we checked in, they tried to get us to attend a presentation in exchange for a free gift. They will try to sell you a time share. It's really not cool that this was not disclosed. It took forever for us to check in because of the upsell scam.
