'Heather at the front desk was very welcoming after we had traveled there she had an inviting smile and nice personality. Jackie who runs the kitchen is always helpful when in need of something and has a clean dining area and good choice of breakfast items. All staff was nice whenever you approached one. 'It's a very nice property run by a friendly family. I feel there should have been more sound proofing during construction. I could hear the person snoring in the room adjacent. Otherwise, nothing would put me off staying there again. Thanks!'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'This was one of my worst experiences with a resort hotel. The fridge in room was very tiny,wasn’t even a freezer at top just a cooler. The trash bins was small as well. This hotel need to be updated like smaller star hotels that offer a lot more for your buck. What I felt was going to be a joyful vacation on the beach turn out to be one of the worst I had. Not many luggage carts available.
The staff was helpful. The beach view from the lobby area was nice.'

'So this property was very clean and very good value for the money. The only criticism I have is that it was kind of loud. As usual the walls are thin so you can hear people wallowing in the halls. The biggest issue I had was that the bathroom fan does not turn off. This noise was not ideal for a good sleep but in the grand scheme of things would not stop me from booking there again. Very clean property. Very lovely polite staff.'
