'This was such a great motel slightly off the main town center of Fox Glacier but along the way to the popular Lake Matheson! The only downside I would list is that there was only one small panel heater in the room which was not sufficient to heat up the entire room. However, the beds had electric blankets and the bathroom had a heater so it was not a major issue.'

'Te Mahuru is a most exceptional, beautiful, very clean and overall, a perfect place to stay. Jen went out of her way to be accommodating and we give thanks t the highest rating possible. The gardens and views were spectacular, the hot tubs were lovely and very clean and the breakfast was delicious. Homemade bread each morning and plenty of great choices. The patio off our room was very private and comfortable for sitting with a cup of tea gazing at the beautiful mountains in the background....

'We hadden een kleine kamer geboekt . En dat is het ook. Geen ruimte voor een koffer laat staan twee. Je kunt hem alkeen voor de deur kwijt maar dan jun je niet in en uit. Te klein , schoonmaak is pas s'avonds gebeurd nadat we erom gevraagd hebben. Voor ons prijs kwaliteit niet ok. Helaas'

'Mooie locatie, direct aan de kust. Qua restaurants slechts 1 mogelijkheid. Verdere faciliteiten zoals tanken of supermarkt ruim 50km verderop.'
