Lovely home, excellent location, nice amenities. Issues with toilet and had difficulty getting a response from the property manager. It’s a wonderful place to stay; however, if you have any issue, do not expect a response from the property management company.

South Fork Stay

Beautiful house with an amazing outdoor area. It was perfect for our family visit to Pagisa Springs and Great Sand Dunes NP. Will definitely stay again and will recommend this home to everyone we know!

The house was suitable for our whole family. But we did purchase a coffee maker because with 6 adults the Kurig would not meet the morning needs. We did leave it with the house for future guests. Overall we were satisfied with the house. It was our second time we rented this house for a ski vacation.

Beautiful!

Loved the location and ease of getting there and entering. Had everything we needed. Might use updated kitchen cookware. Only 1 frying pan and 2 baking sheets and both were unusable. Might update outdoor deck rugs. Property dumpster was overturned and trash was scattered around second day we were there. Called the management company but agent was very difficult to understand. Issue was resolved in a short amout of time but we wish the management company had a local number to contact. We WILL come back because the property is ideal for our family!

Great house on the river

We had a great week in south fork. The house was perfect for our group. Very nice and well laid out. The upstairs loft/bedroom was so fun and perfect for the kids. Would absolutely stay here again

Perfection

We were blessed to spend our Thanksgiving holiday here. The home is a beautiful place with lots of room and options. The kitchen is fully loaded with everything we needed to cook a large meal and plenty of space around the table for all 11 of us to eat together. The maintenance crew was friendly and quick to respond with an issue we had, even on a holiday . The beds were wonderfully comfortable. The loft is absolutely perfect. A dream for children to play. We used the gazebo and the fire pit for s’mores and the hot tub was great. The deer wandering by was a perk too. The management of this property was the best we have ever experienced and we will try to use them on the future.

Relaxing on the River

The house was perfect for our family to relax and enjoy time together. There were lots of spaces for people to get away to for some peace and quiet. Really unique space with the outdoor gazebo, upstairs kid area with the best view, and so close to restaurants in South Fork. We had a couple of minor things that didn't seem to work (nothing major to us) so we left a note for the property manager.

Great location and beautiful furnishings

We were blown away by the beautiful furnishings and all the unique spaces. The only complaints were sleeping arrangements for three couples over 60 years of age. Two of the rooms were perfect but, the room upstairs was really cute and decorated very nicely. The problem was the bunk beds. Comfy but, the overhang from the top bunk got us more that two times. I just about knocked myself out one morning getting out of bed. So, we moved to the room in front of the house that does not have a bathroom to the room. You have to go out, through the Fourier to the kitchen area to use the restroom or shower. That bath also houses the washer and dryer. Back to the room, it had a queen bed and when you sat in it, it sounded like the ones in the 20’s with squeaky springs. Would really be a great house for two couloles with kids.

A Perfect Family Retreat

My sister and I rented this property for a tiny family vacation away and it was the most perfect spot for tons of family fun. The kids loved the hideaway nook packed with toys and bunk room. We played in the creek during the day, and then took short day trips to the surrounding towns and hikes. Just a perfect spot for exploring the region, or just relaxing at home.

Amazing location perfect for our family

Two Rivers was perfect for our family! Although no there is no AC it was pleasant during the day and slightly cool in the house at night. I’d suggest bring a fan for each room especially the upstairs bunk room if you planning your visit during the summer months! The gazebo near the river was perfect for morning coffee, evening wine and s’mores in the fire pit!! It could use a better and more update selection of kitchen equipment (Keurig).

La casa superó mis expectativas, el pueblo es maravilloso, la casa tiene todo lo que se necesita y más. Cuartos amplios y espacio de sobra para todos. Hay actividades para todas las edades, el gazebo en medio de los dos ríos es simplemente bellísimo. Es el lugar perfecto para los amantes de la pesca. El servicio de Vacasa fue extraordinario y sin duda superaron nuestras expectativas. Sumamente recomendado para familias.

Great house!

What a great place to stay! We stayed here for our spring break ski trip. Have always stayed on the Pagosa side but love South Fork! The house was in a great location and had everything you needed. It was laid out perfectly with lots of beds and lots of room- with 4 teenagers everyone had their space!

Nice cabin for a holiday

The cabin has a great entry room with plenty of boot, coat storage. The back porch/yard scenery is great. Having 2 master suites is also nice when traveling with friends/ another family.

Fell short of expectations

The check in process was a nightmare. The instructions listed a code for a “lockbox” which there happens to be on a post near the door, apparently it actually meant for the door lock itself. In the end that didn’t matter because the code never worked, had to access the property through the back door and were unable to lock it when we left for our entire stay. I called the property manager no less than 4 times, no answer and the voicemail was full. I sent an email because that was my only other method of contact. She didn’t reply until well into the next day. There were some small maintenance issue with the property, a doorknob fell off, drains ran slow, the washing machine was very dirty. A maintenance man did come and fix one slow drain. The property has a mouse problem. We caught and released one mouse using a trash can and saw at least 2 more. As it is near the river in a rural area, this isn’t really a surprise or a huge deal but it would have been nice to have some traps. You also have to haul your trash to a bin all the way across town, they say due to wildlife and have apparently never heard of bear proof trash cans. Lastly, the hot tub wasn’t working. It broke before our stay, we were never informed of this, and wasn’t able to be fixed until after we left. The only reason I am still leaving this property with 3 starts is because of the location. It is truly magical to be right in the river. We loved the gazebo. I would say though it is closer to the highway and neighbors than the ad leads you to believe but it is still quite lovely. The house itself it also quite beautiful and nicely decorated. The kitchen has all the equipment you will need. Overall we had a nice stay but the lack of sufficient property management will keep us from renting this property again.

Simply Amazing!

This property is absolutely perfect in almost every way! We traveled with another family, so having 2 master suites was a wonderful feature. We had plenty of room. The real jewel of this property is the outdoor area. The patio is furnished with plenty of seating for everyone, but we spent most of our time in the gazebo on the island. The running water was beautiful and our kids enjoyed playing in the currents. We took full advantage of the fire pit each evening This was one of the most well stocked houses we have stayed at. There were many kitchen supplies and toiletries already there for us to use, and we had plenty of trash bags and blankets and pillows. We didn’t lack for anything! The town of South Fork is so friendly and we enjoyed our stay. We will be renting this house annually from now on!
