This quaint little Dennis home is perfect for a family visiting the cape to call home. This homey hideaway contains a deck and a grill for cooking up the catches of the day. The home is equipped with a full kitchen for preparing meals for your whole group. It is conveniently located in the middle of the Cape and allows guests to visit any area they please from this home base.

The nearest beach is Corporation Beach, just over four-and-a-half miles away from the house. If you want to go to the south side of the Cape, the nearest beach is West Dennis Beach, just six miles away. Unfortunately there was garbage piled up outside. There were cigarette butts, lighters and cups of ashes on the basement stairs. The doorknob to the main bedroom fell off when we opened the door. And a man knocked on the door our second day and requested to come in to 'look for something'. Not a pleasant experience.

Peaceful & Perfect

We absolutely loved the location, and the roomy house. It was close to beaches, shopping, and restaurants. Our dog loved the place too; having a deck and back yard really was awesome. Our only suggestion is to have local menus handy for quick decision making, and the WiFi information written down somewhere.

Nice place to take you dog

All in all the cottage was exactly as stated. Location was awesome. Only draw backs were: No adequate pans to cook a family breakfast, lacked utensils, bowls. No hairdryer! This was really needed as we rented for a family anniversary party. I asked a neighbor if I could borrow a hairdryer for 5 minutes and he stated, "it was broken". Come on, just say no. Also, the person prior to us did not clean up their dogs yard waste. We cleaned it so that we did not get blamed for leaving. The trash was not gone from the last renter. It could also use more deck chairs and beach chairs. The inside was very clean. Also, check in was at 4 p.m. The cleaners weren't done until 4 p.m. The check out time was 10 a.m. It should be later for the amount of money paid. Very expensive with all the fees for this and that.

Cape Cod feel

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door to this home. It was very clean and well furnished. I have stayed in other BnB's and they were modestly furnished. This typical Cape Cod style house feels like a home. The artwork on the walls were tasteful. The furniture was modern and clean. Having the sheets and towels furnished was a plus. The kitchen has everything that you could need, including a blender for those vacation drinks! The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood that is close to both bay and ocean beaches. I would rebook this home again.

Lovely house

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and comfortable. Three bedrooms on two floors accommodate seven adults. The kitchen is well equipped. The property is centrally located in the mid cape making it accessible to some of the best beaches, shopping, and historic sites. We will stay again.

Pretty in pictures, dirty in person

This home was very pretty, the neighborhood is quiet and convenient but the interior was extremely unsatisfactory with regards to cleanliness. Multiple beds had actually dirt particles in the sheets, the living room had crumbs and tufts of dog hair on the rug, as well as clumps of dog hair on the couches. The toiletries were all small samples, not effective for more than one or two days stay, same with paper products and garbage bags. This home has SO MUCH potential, but the details just missed the mark and made out stay less than ideal.

Overall unpleasant

We have a small dog so needed a property that would accept pets. I didn't imagine this would mean pee stained and urine soaked carpet. Property managers tried to rectify by sending pro carpet cleaners but once the carpet got wet the smell was worse, although the stains were removed. And we had to request a foam mattress topper as the queen bed was like a slab of Concrete. Very plain poorly equipped home. Irear deck had two plastic chairs and a small plastic table and a dirty barbecue. Awful.

Location is Great, details need some help...

Great House, Great Location in Dennis, we had ease of travel whenever we went out. We would stay again, had a wonderful time. Thank You! Maintenance Recommendations for Property Owner. 1. Add another trash barrel to the yard, we cooked at home all week and the trash was a lot, even with us trying to reduce. 2. The Mobile AC unit in the 1st floor needs a permanent fix, we (as others before) had to duct tape the unit vent into the window, it would come undone every couple nights at 2 or 3am and fall out. 3. Toilet seats should be replaced, the hinge on the 1st floor was wonky.

It’s a cozy little house in a quiet neighborhood. Loved the nearby running/walking trail. The couches are a little smelly-taking the throw pillows off helped. We nicknamed the queen bed Plymouth Rock because it’s a very firm mattress. The other beds were much more comfortable. Just being together as a family was great for us. We enjoyed the stay. Thank you.

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property. We originally had another reservation with a different vacation rental company that treated us so poorly we cancelled and rebooked with this company and property instead. Overall the house was great. The two floors was a plus, the two bathrooms were very large and nice. The upstairs beds were very comfortable for my two young boys. The living room and kitchen open layout was nice and the skylight was great for natural light and bright mornings. Some unexpected perks included being a block away from Kelly Shea park which we love and has a great playground and track for walks with kids and dogs. Additionally about a block the opposite way is a pond that has a short public trail to. That was great for our boys as well. Very calm quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The back deck is smaller than it looks but the backyard overall is a decent size. The neighbors are a bit close to the property but were very friendly. A few things that could be better include: the downstairs queen size bed was pretty firm. We ended up getting used to it but overall it should be replaced with something more comfortable. All linens and towels were included and more than enough pillows were provided but the kitchen could have had a few small spices included for cooking. Luckily there is a great plaza about 7 min away with markets grocery stores etc. location really was awesome. The backyard isn’t completely fenced in but could be easily done. If that happened I think the property would be more relaxing as it is hard to fully enjoy yourself outside with two small kids who want to assert their independence often lol. That is probably our biggest “con” though putting that aside we would def book this property again. I think I would give this property 3.5 stars but if the yard was fenced in it would go up to 4. Thank you for our stay, we had a great time and hope to come back to the cape soon

Close to park

The property was walking distance to a great family friendly park, and had easy access to the Rail Trail. The home had plenty of space and great artwork, but amenities were basic and we found that the kitchen, baths, and ACs were not clean.
