« We stayed here for 10 nights to attend back to back tournaments at Spooky Nook. The place was very clean, all new appliances, comfortable beds, and a very helpful and responsive host.The neighborhood in the immediate vicinity leaves a little to be desired, but it is a short walk to the downtown area, and an easy drive to the "newer" parts of Middletown. « The townhouse was very clean and felt cozy. There were bottled waters and snacks left which saved me for our first early morning of volleyball.The townhouse is closer to the entrance of the Spooky Nook Sports complex than 90% of the parking spaces in the parking lot. It was exactly a 3 minute walk from the townhouse to the front entrance. The owners were VERY prompt to respond to messages that I sent. I ended up with an injury just before my trip and was on crutches during this awful long...

« Just as described, very quaint neighborhood, however, the lighting in the neighborhood was extremely poor, which is not the fault of Vrbo or Host. Tight parking for two vehicles if you have two vehicles, but property is on a cul-de-sac, where other parking is available. I did contact the host about a few minor maintence items, as I do all hosts. Hazel, our host, was EXCEPTIONAL! We have been booking with her for 3 or 4 years!! Highly recommend! »

« The Holly Jolly house is a clean SPACIOUS home. There are some contradictions in the descriptions. It sleeps 7 (not 8), unless there's a bed in the LR: a BR with single bed on main floor, and three 2-person bedrooms upstairs (two with queens & one with 2 twins). One queen bedroom has a private full bath, the other two upstairs BRs share a bath with large shower in the upper hall. « Check in was easy, appreciated the light on the front porch on as we arrived when it was pretty dark. The house was clean and the water pressure in the showers was amazing. Didn't expect that in an older home. The kitchen is very nice, very clean. The only suggestion would be ice cube trays and wine glasses. The six of us had a great time, and the front porch was large and enjoyed by all of us. »
