'The owners keep the property up to a very high standard, always busy, location is ideal, close to local attractions with good routes, but enough out the way to be peaceful. The local walks are great, plenty of wildlife, top the day off with a nice soak in the well maintained hot tubs. Beautiful.'

'Good size lodge, just starting to show some wear. Homely, comfortable but not luxurious. Need extra small side tables in lounge or a larger coffee table as it's a lodge for 8. Could do with mirrors in the bedrooms so you can put makeup on and style hair. TV's sound not good needs up grading. Good size balcony. Enjoyed our stay.'

'Deer Leap is a fabulous lodge in a lovely setting and really quite private. Spotlessly clean and smelled lovely on entering. We loved the hot tub and the bathroom door leading directly to it outside. The twinkly lights over the covered seating area outside were so pretty at night. The huge bed was super-comfy, we slept very well. 'We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher Lodge in Somerset. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing break, with beautiful surroundings and easy access to everything we needed. We arrived to find a chilled bottle of Prosecco waiting for us, which was a really thoughtful touch and made our first evening feel extra special.
