« My stay here was fantastic. Checkin was extremely easy. There is a sign by the road to make finding the cabins easy. The cabin was exactly as described. Kitchen facilities had everything I needed to cook 3 full meals for 2 full days. Water pressure and temperature are great. We had a wonderful time enjoying the pond and outdoor area as well! Recommend to everyone. »

« This was the perfect place for me to stay while visiting southern Illinois. The cabin is located in a private area, but it's just a quick drive to Marion, which allows for numerous food, drinks, and fun. I loved the decor and atmosphere of the cabin - it also provided all of the things needed to cook meals, etc. I'd recommend this property to anyone! »

« We wanted to get out of the city for the weekend and this was a great spot for it. Nice views and very remote yet close enough to Carbondale that we didn’t feel like it was a big distance to hang out in town and pick up some grocery items. Had a great time kayaking on the on-site pond. Also very close to many nature trails including a 5-minute drive to Panther Den trailhead. Overall, I would definitely come back. »

« Everything was neat and well organized. Lighting outside was very well done, and the pictures do not do it justice. Very peaceful and quiet area. Inside was all modern appliances and furniture. Very clean. The closed in porch area was nice to keep you out of the rain with a good view also. »

« We stayed a week at this lovely home and had a great time. It was so clean, and all the furniture and beds were very comfortable. The area is filled with fun things to do. Plenty of nature hikes at Ferne Clyffe State park, and the Garden of the Gods is worth the short drive. The lake was calm and we enjoyed several kayak trips. We look forward to coming back!
