Outside of the main summer holiday period (late July - early September) we charge a lower base price for rental of the Villa for two people, and then add a per person per night charge for each guest in addition to two.  This is so that we can offer the Villa for smaller parties and couples at a reasonable rate, and you know you are not paying for extra beds and rooms that you are not using.  In the peak Summer season the Villa is charged at one rate only regardless of the number of people in your travelling party. The extra guest fee payable applies also to children using beds, but not for a baby/toddler using a cot - they are always free of charge - so if booking outside of the main summer season (dates above) please book for the number of adults and the number of children using a bed, but do not include a baby/toddler who will require a cot - please just advise us of the need for a cot/high chair per child.

Villa Susana is set just off the N124 east of Messines. It commands fabulous views to the South and the coast. Located in a very private setting, 3 bedrooms, formal garden, private pool, sun terrace, barbecue. Fully equipped. 20 minutes to the coast, 15 minutes to golf, 20 minutes to shopping. * Pool heating available for 22€ per day

It has two en-suite bedrooms plus one family bathroom for the third bedroom. Enjoy open plan living in a light and airy living space with plenty of room, comfy seating, and a well equipped kitchen. Outside there is a covered seating area for eating and relaxing with a traditional Portuguese barbecue to hand, a sun terrace for private relaxation and a good sized pool, all with stunning views towards the Algarve's beautiful south coast.

Air conditioning is available in two of the three bedrooms - the third bedroom is at the rear of the property and naturally cooler in the summer months.

A fabulous holiday home for family or friends to get together and enjoy the delights of Portugal! A little gem!

Vrije staande rvilla in een rustige en omgeving en toch dichtbij de toeristische trekpleisters
Een goed gelegen vrijstaande villa met alle gemakken voorzien. De villa heeft alles wat je nodig hebt, een grote keuken met alle apparatuur die je kunt bedenken. Grote woonkamer met drie grote slaapkamers en aangrenzende badkamer. De villa ligt rustig maar dichtbij 200 meter van de doorgaande weg en dichtbij het dorp 5 minuten rijden waar er een grote supermarkt is. De villa ligt centraal gelegen in het binnenland en is met een auto 20 minuten naar de kust te rijden met de daarbij behorende toeristische dorpen. Voor ons een goede basis omdat de villa rustig is gelegen maar dichtbij alles is. Volgend jaar hebben wij weer geboekt!

Beter dan verwacht. Fantastische vakantie gehad.
Eerst het huis: Heerlijk huis. Grote slaapkamers, fijne bedden. Ruime en complete badkamers en stille krachtige airconditioning in 2 slaapkamers. Ruime keuken met grote koelkast en alle voorzieningen om comfortabel te leven. Zitkamer ook zeer ruim met fijne banken, alhoewel we meestal op het terras of aan het zwembad zaten. Heerlijke ligbedden bij het zwembad. Zwembad ruim genoeg om lekker te dobberen. Geen ondiep gedeelte voor kleine kinderen. De ligging: Uitzicht van het terras is fantastisch. Gelegen op een helling biedt het huis een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras over de wijde omgeving. Prachtige groene landschap van de Algarve met veel citrusvrucht plantages. Veel privacy. Geen naastgelegen huizen. Geen huis in de wijde omgeving met zicht op dit huis. Bereikbaarheid: Eerste keer even zoeken. Een auto is noodzakelijk. In de directe omgeving veel keuze uit lokale Portugese restaurants met zeer goed prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Check tripadvisor hier voor. Dichtsbijzijnde supermarkt 10 minuten met de auto. Voldoende keuze voor alles wat je maar nodig hebt voor je verblijf. Via goede wegen ben je binnen half uurtje in Abufeira centrum, of strand. Ook nog naar de west kust van Portugal geweest. Uurtje met de auto naar surfers strand met lekker hoge golven. Wij kunnen dit huis alleen maar van harte aanbevelen.

Beautiful Villa - Calm, peace, relaxation
Fantastic stay, spotlessly clean and great communication from owner. The villa is set in a quiet place, with privacy and calm, with a view for miles across, far into the distance. Wi-fi great, all you need in a very nice 'home from home' quality kitchen. The three of us had a great time. Close drive to 2 x large supermarkets in one direction and beautiful castle town of Silves.

Un véritable havre de paix, nous avons apprécié le calme et les sérénité des lieux ! A super villa in an excellent position
Villa Susana is a beautifully presented and maintained property, tucked away so as to give complete privacy but only five minutes or so by car from the Continental Supermarket in Messines. The pool is a joy and I can really recommend the 'heated' option as the water temperature is perfect - simply didn't want or need, to come out!

Beautiful location
We really enjoyed our stay. The property location was great for us. There are markets very nearby and it's a 20-40 minute drive to so many different things in the Algarve region. The view is great of the surrounding orchard fields and they pool is deeper than you might expect. We are very happy with chosing this property for our vacation!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es ist ein guter Platz zum Relaxen. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, der Pool ist super. Für Ausflüge zur Küste benötigt man allerdings schon ein Auto.

Lovely spacious and well maintained villa in a beautiful quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of the main Algarve resorts. The support from the owners was excellent. Only minor point was that, despite the comprehensive directions, we had some initial difficulty locating it. That said, we are looking forward to booking it again in the near future.

Had a wonderful 4 day break at Villa Susana! Exactly as advertised and the views did not disappoint! A lovely welcome hamper awaited us on arrival consisting of beer, cheese, ham, butter, bread, milk, eggs and orange juice. Bed linen and towels provided, including pool towels. Also don’t miss out on the roof terrace for even better views!! All in all, a 5 star stay! Thanks Alex and Richard and family!

Relaxing break
A great villa made special by the wonderful views for miles around that really helped us to unwind. The outdoor area was perfect for eating and enjoying a barbecue. The pool was great for a family to enjoy and the mixed depths really made for good swimming practice. It is also a nice distance from the property so that those not engaging can still watch what is happening but also relax without the screaming and the splashing! Finally, Alex was a great host and so helpful and responsive to any questions which took all the hassle away. We would definitely recommend.

Just returned from 2 week stay at Villa Susana. Excellent villa. Exactly as advertised, well equipped, everything you could need provided. Welcome pack, a really nice gesture. Our perfect vacation
Two snowbirds from Canada found the perfect getaway at Villa Susana. Quiet, in a country setting surrounded by orchards and a distant view of the ocean. The villa is all one could ask for - large living area, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds. Alex and Richard are wonderful hosts who attended to any and all of our requests immediately. We had a car so access to all the Algarve was easy and accessible. Loved every moment.

Schönes Haus mit gepflegtem, beheizbaren Pool in toller Aussichtslage. Sehr gute Kommunikation mit den Vermietern! Für Ausflüge und Fahrten an die Küste muss man längere Fahrstrecken in Kauf nehmen. Ein (Miet-)Wagen ist daher unbedingt erforderlich.

Lovely Villa with views
The villa was very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The swimming pool was a great size and enjoyed by all the family. Excellent views from both the patio area and the roof. Good supermarket in the nearby town and only about 30 minute drive from the coast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the owners really made you feel welcome.

Solitude and oranges
Had a nice weeklong stay at Villa Susana. Alex was an extremely helpful and accommodating host. The property is comfortable and well-equipped for most people’s needs. But the biggest draw is the solitude, and the view. Nothing but wide open spaces, orange groves and bright blue sky. Anyone wanting a quiet location away from the hordes on the coast, this place is perfect.
