The place was great in nearly every way. Location, size, cleanliness, private, with easy access to everything around us. There are two reasons I did not give this a five star rating. The main one is due to a noise that kept going on and off every few minutes. We could hear it from our bedroom and kitchen. It sounded like a electric water pump. The second reason, and this may be unrelated to the rental, I did not give this place a five star rating is due to the "on site chefs dinner" option we opted for. The women who prepared the meal were fantastic. They brought everything they needed and cleaned everything when they were finished. The dinner was relatively expensive per person and was not extraordinary. The pasta course was delicious but the main course was basic and much to salty for our taste, and the dessert was pretty good. On the other hand, the brunch at the tasting room was exceptional. Seila (spelling) was passionate and exceptionally generous with her time and extensive knowledge of the region, the wine, and the food. Finally, the wine is delicious. I would stay here again as it was in a beautiful location, but I would pick a different bedroom and make my brother and his wife stay it the loud room.
