The Heritage Wing where I stayed is comprised of a small number of mid-century whitewashed blocks built around a beautifully restored French Governor's mansion dating from 1917. I was upgraded on arrival to a ground floor Pool Courtyard room. 'Lovely boutique hotel on the river. The staff were friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had everything we needed. They even made us takeaway coffees for our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. The location is excellent and we also enjoyed using the pool when we got back from our excursions. The only thing to mention is that I think we were given clean towels daily despite hanging our towels up which is not great for the environment.'
