  • Située sur les hauteurs de Shoal Bay, cette unité économique au troisième étage comprend deux chambres à coucher et offre une vue magnifique sur la brousse et l’eau.

    Il dispose d'une cuisine moderne avec four micro-ondes, d'un grand balcon privé, d'un salon décloisonné avec télévision et d'une buanderie interne avec lave-linge et sèche-linge.

Overpriced

Apart from the amazing view, it was a dreadful place! The reviews were misleading. Beds awful and uncomfortable. Dining chairs very uncomfortable. Windows dirty. Lounge extremely poor and uncomfortable. Curtain bracket missing. Shower way too short. Cutlery dirty. One old small fan heater for whole place. We left one day early because of being such a terrible, old and definitely not value for money place. Never would we recommend this place to anyone

Old and dilapidated

I expected an older property from the photos but the state of the unit was appalling. The master bed is a double not the advertised queen. The door to the master balcony is broken. The lounges are extremely uncomfortable to the point that the floor was more comfortable. The dining chairs were broken and uncomfortable. The DVD player didn't work. The kitchen range hood was broken. The ladder on the bunk bed was broken and dangerous as it easily pulled away from the bunk and is an accident waiting to happen. There is no air con and only a single pedestal fan to provide any cooling.

Modest unit with a good view

Older style unit in a good spot. Don't forget to bring your own linen. It is on the 3rd story with no lift so only suitable if you are good with stairs.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic views and location that distracted from the substandard and outdated furniture and lack of air-conditioning. Fridge tv couches toilet door need updating. No dishwasher. Good cleanliness and smooth checkin process.

8 Blue Waters, best views of the Bay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great about the stay. Booking was easy and the Winning personnel were really helpful and professional. It was easy to book and a few emails back and forth sorted everything out. Trying to contact by phone was really wierd though, with calls going via an offshore call centre which was not very helpful at all. I just wanted to clarify a couple of points, but this was impossible and I was kept on hold while the call centre tried to locate someone to talk directly with. Not a good system. We have been coming to Shoal Bay for 20 years, and this was probably our 8th stay in 8 Blue Waters. It's always been easy to book and arrange. Having booked and paid I did not expect the barrage of automated mails for online check in, etc. I am not one of the snowflakes who need constant contact and support. 8 Blue Waters is a true gem, best uninterrupted views of the bay from the balcony and comfortable for us. It wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea, but we find it perfectly appointed for our needs. Sat out on the balcony and ate our evening meals and played scrabble, etc. Will go again later in the year.

I want to go back!

Overall was a great place. The sea view is amazing. Great value for money. Fully contained unit. In general the property and furniture is a little bit outdated but we don't really care, it gives it a little bit of character. The only thing is that with those views you would expect a (far) better balcony table and chairs. There's a small water leak in the toilet bowl. And in addition, if you are an environmentalist, you will be worried for the old toilet that wastes so much water when you flush it. There was only one toilet paper roll, and none in the shops... so bring yours. An annoying detail. Also, it would've been great if we could depart after 10 on a Sunday, we were rushing breakfast and had to drive 10 minutes to drop the keys, and another 10 to be back into the bay.

Beautiful views and okay experience

The house was quite clean when we entered, but it is an old house. The furniture and cutlery was a bit old but nonetheless the view was the most important for us. No dishwasher but they had a drier and washer. Literally feels like you’re staying at your grandmas house but with a little renovation the unit would be amazing.

Awesome location

Stayed here for 2 nights with some friends. Great location- easy to walk into town. Beautiful views. Kindof feels like grandma just moved out- lace doilies and aged crockery!! Overall would definitely recommend as long as you don’t mind that things are a bit dated. With a bit of a spring clean and minor update it would be simply amazing.

Absolutely Amazing view!

We were surprised at how beautiful the place was . It was cosy and homely and we both want to stay again. The real estate were a pleasure to deal with and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs . Thank you guys .
