'We stayed here with our work crew and booked 5 rooms. The motel is in a nice and quiet location. The rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are great and take pride in the motel, which really shows. All our guys were very pleased - so it's definitely a motel I'd highly recommend. When we're in Mackay next we'll be back to Shakespeare Motel for sure. '

'The property was close to fast food outlets. Bridge road has eateries down the opposite side of the motel. Hostess was friendly and supportive. The room was quiet and there was no noise from the road.'

'Very friendly couple from Bangladesh is working here with their baby. They working hard together knowing what hospitality is. Breakfast is poor but oké, only the peanutbutter was over date en no jam… Room, bathroom are simple but clean, everything you need is there. '
