"Highly recommend to stay at Cromwell’s Tap House. It’s located in the heart of Shrewsbury, at walking distance of pretty much everything in town. Only 7 minutes from the train station. The rooms were located on the first floor above the pub. We heard no noise whatsoever, and only in the morning we heard some cars go by, but it was of no nuisance to us. The room was very clean, bed was comfortable and there were a lot of amenities like a hairdryer, coffee, tea, and towels. The linen were also very clean. The discount at the pub was a nice bonus; they have a nice selection of beers at good prices."

"Great and very helpfull staff. Also, massive shoutout for being one of the few hotels who remained affordable during the Back to the Beginning concert weekend! My room was all the way in the back end of the hotel. The gentleman in charge at the reception offered to walk with me to my room. He insisted I would get lost if he didn't, and he was right. The hotel is much bigger than it looks: It toke several minutes to get to my room, and we had a great conversation on the way! The room itself was super clean and despite what Holiday Inn's costumer support chat told me: They do have a 24/7 reception and checkin Small side note for the hotel: Verify the information Holiday Inn's costumer support has about your hotel, since the phone number the chat agent gave me neither didn't work, but thankfully I was able to find the correct number online!
