« Awesome accommodation »

« The hosts answered my questions promptly. The house was stocked with the bare minimum. Only a few small spoons (I have kids) but five or so giant soup spoons. Enough knives and forks. Almost no cooking pots/pans, baking dishes and other kitchen necessities. I was hoping to cook a meal while we were there. We stayed in December. There was not an extra blanket to be found. Only one blanket on each bed. The house itself was adequate. We only stayed for two nights. »

« After driving 8 hours we arrived at this rental, looking forward to a relaxing evening. That was not the case. First of all, we had an issue getting inside and contacting the host. Secondly, while waiting for his reply we walked around the house to the front door and found a water disconnect notice from the city. He reset the access code and we got in. « This was our 2nd stay at the honey bee cottage. We really appreciate the pet setup with the front fenced garden and the back fenced yard. It really works great for our two pups. Not a lot of places allow for two doggies. They were so tired of playing together in the back yard that they conked out early and slept all night. We also really liked the doors on the dining area and the very comfortable king bed!Overall, our stay was very comfortable. Suggestions: refill the sugar - we only had one...

« Comfortable bed, bedroom set up was good. Excellent washer and dryer. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. We brought our own coffee and it worked perfect in the k cup. This cottage is on a busy road but we are up early and it didnt bother us.This is not a luxurious place, but comfortable and was in a good location for us! I hope to stay again. »

« My dog, Harmony and I so enjoyed our stay in Vancouver. The home was very welcoming and had everything we needed and more. We were very comfortable and felt at home. Walking in the neighborhood, I felt safe and the views of the river were beautiful. And the Waterfront river walk was only a few minutes away.We went to Portland each day and was pleasantly surprised at the quick commute and grateful to stay in a quiet neighborhood out of the busy city.We even enjoyed a day trip to the ocean. »

« Cozy yet large living room where our daughter, her partner, my husband and I could sit, chat and play a game. Little Details: large boxes of Kleenex; scissors in office; fun and useful coasters for the wood tables; many artful pottery mugs; tea bag choices; high quality salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, sugar; broiler pan; great plumbing (hot water delivered quickly, water pressure good); lovely back area with table and chairs and umbrella for outdoor visiting. »
